This is a great product. I have not yet experienced any problems with it. The toothbrush comes with three heads and a charging stand that also serves as a UV sanitizer for the heads. The toothbrush heads are not too soft and not too firm but are just right. I like the timing feature that this toothbrush has. The charge life on this is super long.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Everything I was looking for; I just hope it lasts!, December 22, 2015
The Dazzlepro is my first rechargeable toothbrush. When I first decided on purchasing a rechargeable brush, I knew I wanted something similar in quality to the more expensive Sonicare models, but I wasn't ready to spend that much money on my first rechargeable brush. I was not disappointed with what I chose instead. The Dazzlepro does exactly what I hoped it would do: effectively remove plaque and give my teeth that squeaky clean look and feel. It works at just the right intensity for me - not too weak and not too vigorous - so my teeth get very clean without gum irritation.

There are actually three settings. The first setting (called "Pro") is the highest intensity and it is the only setting I use. The second is of a lower, medium intensity - labeled "S". I would describe the third setting as a sort of pulse setting - labeled "M". (I don't really see the point of the third setting, but that doesn't mean someone else won't.) Pressing the power button allows you to cycle through the settings, with a light letting you know which setting you're on. Pressing the power button on the last setting will turn the brush off.

My favorite feature is the built-in timer. The brush pauses after 30 seconds, which prompts you to move on to the next section; it cuts off completely after 2 minutes. The timer assumes that you will brush in sections of four and will spend 30 seconds brushing each of those sections - the same way that dentists recommend you brush your teeth. I'd never paid any attention to those recommendations before using this brush and I really wasn't confident that I would alter my behavior after purchasing this brush, but I did! I've definitely developed healthier habits as a result of this brush.

I'm also impressed with the UV light feature. The UV light sits in the center of the compartment that holds the brush heads. (The brush heads sit on little pegs.) Closing the compartment top activates the UV light. Of course you can't tell that your brush heads are any cleaner than they were before, but it's a neat feature nonetheless.

A minor complaint that I have relates to removing the brush head from the brush handle. To do this, you must grab the brush head from the top and pull firmly. It just seems a bit unsanitary and inelegant to me. I wish there was a mechanism that released the head from the handle. That way, you aren't putting your hands all over the bristles or having to struggle to remove the brush head. It's not a big issue and it's not the reason I took off a star in my rating, but I thought it was worth mentioning.

I took a star off for lack of reliability. My original Dazzlepro started malfunctioning four months after purchase. It would cut off prematurely and would sometimes require that I press the power button several times before it turned on. I emailed the manufacturer with my issue, with proof-of-purchase attached. Granted, customer service from the company was excellent: I had a new toothbrush, complete with a new base and brush heads, within a week; I did not have to send the original brush back. (There was no UV light on the replacement base, but since there was nothing wrong with my original base, they had no reason or obligation to send me another fancy one.) However, despite that amazing customer service, I can't help but worry that the replacement will, in short time, suffer the same fate as my original brush - particularly after the 1 year warranty has expired. I've had the replacement brush for five months now and it works perfectly; I'm just a bit paranoid about not being able to say that five months from now!

A few notes:

- There are a total of three brush heads - all of different colors
- The cord is about 3 feet long
- The base stands just under 5 inches tall and is about 3.5 inches wide at its widest point
- When the brush is sitting on the base, a small orange light remains on at all times. I keep my brush in my room and haven't found it to be bothersome at all
- I've never traveled with this brush or left it off the base for an extended period of time, so I can't comment on battery life

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Dazzlepro trumps Sonicare in my opinion., November 13, 2015
By Hey It's Joel
This is the second Dazzlepro unit I've bought. The first one lasted a couple of years before the battery started dying. My mistake was putting it back on the charger every time I finish brushing my teeth. This time, I leave it out and wait until the motor starts waning before returning it to the base. Like any rechargeable battery, it's best to use up the entire charge before recharging again.

I went back and forth between this and the Sonicare toothbrush (which I owned for years prior). But in the end, I returned to the Dazzlepro because they offered Dazzlepro DAZ-7072 Replacement Interdental Heads, Plastic and DuPont Nylon Bristles, 0.9" Length x 0.2" Width x 3.1" Height, White (Pack of 2) with this unit. Let me tell you, being able to clean in between the grooves of your teeth with this interdental tool is worth its weight in toothpaste. Now I can get color uniformity across my teeth both on the surface and in-between. The results are noticeable.

I deducted one star because of the design. In order to turn this off, you have to push the button 3 times because it cycles through 2 other modes that I don't bother using. The previous unit didn't have this problem as it had two buttons, one of which was a dedicated on/off button.

Like many others, I was also duped into buying into Dazzlepro with the promise of Sonicare during a local Amazon offer. I didn't appreciate that but I decided to give it a try anyway. Worked out in my case.

1.0 out of 5 stars.  Great, but doesn't last long before battery dies!, July 19, 2015
By James Gourlay
We have bought two of these devices over the years. When they work, they are great, but don't expect to use them for long. The rechargeable battery in the toothbrush stops charging after a while (6-9 months in our experience), leaving one with a pile of junk. The first time this happened to us, we gave the benefit of the doubt, but when a second machine does the same, it indicates a trend. Customer service is poor, rendering the guarantee almost worthless.
