5 out of 5 stars.  Orthodontist-Approved, September 29, 2008
I am an orthodontist and I strongly recommend that you purchase this book for your child who is about to get braces and those already in braces. It is a delightful book, written in a manner that all ages can read and understand. The authors do a great job at giving us simple, fun recipes that will not only meet the nutritional requirements for the patient, but also set their mind at ease, in that they will still be able to eat tasty foods. Great book. I tip my hat to the authors.

5 out of 5 stars.  Yummy food for the braces wearer, June 2, 2008
This is a great book for those with braces. As a 44 year old braces wearer, I found the recipes both easy to make and yummy too. It's alsovery informative; I learned about things like soaking raisins for ten minutes, and just a good idea of what I could and could not eat in the Substitution Specials pages. I loved the tooth trivia too. Get this book for some treats and good food.

5 out of 5 stars.  A Great Resource for Anyone, September 10, 2007
The Watermans' cookbook is a great resource for anyone, braces or not. The recipes are totally appealing and tasty. I wish I'd had this book when I had braces! I remember eating only tomato soup and chocolate milkshakes for days on end because my teeth were so sore. This book is a godsend for those who are sporting appliances of any kind in their mouth!!!
