It won't get you extremely pearly whites like that from the dentist, but don't be too surprised for not spending $500. But this product works very well, and I laugh every time I look in the mirror about how much improvement there is. This whitening looks VERY natural which is a huge plus. It is also a shiny white too even though I noticed an insignificant amount of yellow.
My friends and family have noticed my much whiter teeth which were a bit yellow after heavy coffee drinking over the past few years. I'm not sure if I will get this product again immediately as I'm happy with where I am at right now. But I probably will use this product every 1 to 2 years.
As for sensitivity, I can't say. I didn't use this product twice everyday, but instead I use this once everyday. The sensitivity is noticeable, but the dentist who wrote a review on this says that it this products use can be stopped and resumed without having an diminishing effect on the whitening.

Be careful with silver crowns, May 2, 2010

I have a silver crown at the bottom jaw, and this whitestrip went over the gum under the silver crown. Of course, it did not whiten the silver crown (not my intentional anyways) but the gum became VERY sensitive, and I ended up getting gum soreness and bleeding. I'm going to the dentist tomorrow because the silver crown tooth is now slightly loose. I think gums under silver crows are already in a compromised situation so MAKE SURE it does NOT go anywhere near gums under silver crows.
The first strip made my teeth hurt all night. It did go away though, you just have to put up with it.
It did whiten my teeth though.

These Crest Whitestrips actually worked, and the featured review for this product hits the nail on the head. The only other thing I feel I need to add is that the instructions say it's okay to do it twice in one day. I did that, and was surprised the next day. I wouldn't say that my teeth were "sensitive" as the box warned, but I felt like my teeth were actually sore. Not a big deal though. Now I just do one a day and take it easy.
