At Tom's of Maine that means we use authentic natural ingredients. We use zinc citrate sourced from zinc, a naturally occurring mineral and xylitol, a natural ingredient derived from birch trees or corn. Plus, natural flavoring for a taste that will make you look forward to brushing. Some people do not want fluoride in their toothpaste. A Toothpaste that's Refreshing

Finally - a better toothpaste.

Finally, a better alternative to regular toothpaste. This is great for sensitive gums and lips and doesnt burn like traditional toothpastes do, therefore, you brush longer. Ill buy more soon. Was this review helpful to you?

Man I never even read the ingredients past the 1st time I bought them. I had been using this natural toothpaste for a long time, and now I find out they changed the ingredients, and I was totally unaware. To the trash it is. Was this review helpful to you?


which is so much worse than fluoride

If I could give this zero stars, I would. I need a fluoride-free toothpaste because otherwise I have a skin reaction. I had trusted the Tom's brand name until now. The company now uses sodium lauryl sulfate, which is so much worse than fluoride. Come on! If I knew how to get my money back on this purchase, I would. My second issue is that this stuff tastes so bad. My breath actually is worse AFTER brushing. Keep looking... this isn't the right toothpaste for anyone. Was this review helpful to you?


No flouride and does the job

You can't ask for a better toothpaste. I brush twice a day with this and get compliments occasionally. Not many others alternatives to a good toothpaste like Tom's. Was this review helpful to you?
