5.0 out of 5 stars  Cleans very well
By jp05 on December 03, 2015
I was leery of purchasing a natural toothpaste, but this cleans better than the crap you find in grocery stores. I have sensitive teeth as well and I haven't noticed much sensitivity using this. I love that it makes my teeth feel so polished!

5.0 out of 5 stars  Now brand cheaper than Xylitol brand
By NanaRita on November 29, 2015
Now Foods makes toothpaste with xylitol much cheaper then the Xylitol brand. Purchase this toothpaste for better oral health and it does work.

5.0 out of 5 stars  Nice alternative to flouride toohpastes
By Ellie May on November 23, 2015
Pleasant tasting with a mild mint, you really cannot taste the baking soda. This toothpaste contains xylitol for whitening, so keep away from pets. It adequately cleans the surface of teeth, and in conjunction with Essential Oxygen Plus Peppermint Brushing Rinse, 16 Ounce -- 2 per case. creates a nice, foamy mouth-feel, comparable to chemical-based toothpaste.

4.0 out of 5 stars  Give up on fluoride
By Ms Muffintop on November 22, 2015
I read that fluoride is not such a healthy thing, but I've been using fluoride toothpaste all my life. I tried a brand that used a clay base and never felt like that brand cleaned my teeth well. I like that aaahhh fresh from the dentist feeling. If you're like that, this brand is an easier switch - it feels similar to fluoride toothpaste, and the minty flavor is reminiscent of fluoride toothpaste. It doesn't have the salty taste of straight baking soda, it's mint. At the same time I got this I also bought a non-fluoride tooth powder. The powder is messier but foams up. The foam gets in-between teeth. This toothpaste hardly foams. I'd say the powder may be better than this stuff at getting into every nook and cranny, but i can't switch over to the powder completely because it isn't mint flavored. The powder tastes salty. Mint flavored tooth products leave my mouth feeling fresher.

In sum, this stuff is good - but may not be the last non-fluoride stuff I try. There's other stuff out there to try.

5.0 out of 5 stars  Rebuilds tooth enamel/helps strengthen teeth!
By Venus A. Rachal on November 19, 2015
I bought this because I was feeling pain in my teeth, presumably from cavities. Every time I ate something sweet and chewy or certain chocolates, my teeth hurt. I had always thought that you couldn't fix cavities naturally, but my fiancé told me that he was able to heal his teeth problems without dental work, so I did some research on Amazon and looked at online articles to find ways to help my teeth naturally. I was planning to get coconut oil, this toothpaste, and to supplement more vitamins (D, calcium, magnesium). But I ended up getting this first. With only this toothpaste and taking some vitamin D that I had at home, I was able to improve my tooth pain. After using this toothpaste for about 10-12 days, I was able to have a dessert that included caramel with no tooth pain. I felt the tiniest tingle, but no actual pain. I'd been feeling sensitivity in my tooth for about 18 months, maybe longer, but it had gotten much worse over the past 3 months. The xylitol toothpaste is definitely rebuilding the enamel on my teeth. I was a bit sceptical, but now I'm happy I bought it.

I was worried about the xylitol giving it a weird taste, but I stopped noticing the taste after a couple uses. I will say though that I'm used to baking soda-based toothpastes. If you aren't, it might take you a little longer to adjust to the taste. Just make sure to keep this in a medicine cabinet or a drawer if you have pets as xylitol will make cats and dogs very sick if they eat it.
