4.0 out of 5 stars  make sure it is brand new!
By Kelly on December 03, 2015
Buyer beware! The product is great, but don't be fooled by the good deal. I purchased my flexcare plus from the seller Prime Source Plus, and received a used product. Yes, a used toothbrush. Didn't realize it until after I used it; I found dried toothpaste, hair, and dust in the travel case. Despite the creepy crawlies I got, the product is good, and the toothbrush heads are clearly new.

1.0 out of 5 stars  Not durable, will malfunction within a year.
By Brian H on November 29, 2015
My Mom got me this for Christmas last year (I think from Costco?). It is not yet Christmas this year, both brush handles are malfunctioning, and the UV sanitizer is broken.

One of the power handles always seemed to be stuck in the low power Easy Start mode. I held the power button down while in the charger, heard the 1 beep indicating it was out of Easy Start mode, but the vibration was still too soft. The other power handle worked ok with noticeably more power. However, after about 4 months of use, it started turning on by itself when in the charger. I read online about moisture getting in the handle and using silicone grease on the o-rings to seal it up. Sure enough, there was moisture in it so I dried it up and applied silicone grease to the seals. That did the trick for about 6 months.

Now it is November 2015 and the remaining good power handle on-button is malfunctioning. When I take the unit out of the plastic shell and press the button with my fingernail, it works, but when I push it with the flat of my thumb it doesn't, and it doesn't work with the plastic shell and rubber button back on.

Oh yes, and after about 1 month of operation the UV bulb stopped working. I bought a replacement bulb and it turned on once and burned out too. Must be a short somewhere. I thought I read a review that said the batch at Costco was a bad. In any event, I got a lemon. I'm going to try Oral B.

5.0 out of 5 stars  The Marvels of Technology!
By Daniel on November 28, 2015
My teeth have never been cleaner! I love this set and am very glad that I decided to purchase it! I knew I wouldent need two handles (at least I made a justification to myself that I wouldent need them) yet I decided to impulse buy this anyway because why not: something that keeps the dentest at bay is something that I can definitely get behind purchasing. I used one handle almost initially and had no use for the second one....until my girlfriend came along. She had never tied an electric toothbrush and was highly dubious of it at first. But three days later, she reversed her sentiments and said she was never going to use a manual toothbrush again. This just shows you that you can never judge a product until you try it. Now, she swears by them! Im happy the second brushhead came in handy! So Id definatley recommend buying this. Not only is it a superb value, but you can impress your significigant other by having an extra toothbrush on hand if they forget theirs which can consequenly introduce them to the marvils of electirc toothbrushes!

5.0 out of 5 stars  ... the numerous articles and people I came across that recommended sonicare to me
By RCod on November 12, 2015
I bought this because of the numerous articles and people I came across that recommended sonicare to me. I love using this compared to a regular toothbrush. Lasts forever without having to recharge. This kit came with a UV sanitizer which is pretty cool too. I love the fact that there are a ton of different settings you can use. I personally like using the max care setting and after I'm done my teeth feel really clean. It does take a bit long to charge but that can be with anything that's rechargeable.

4.0 out of 5 stars  Interesting product - works well
By Casual Guru on November 07, 2015
They do work as advertised - almost like a dentist visit every day. Plaque and general build-up between visits are greatly reduced and commented on by hygienist and less time spent in the chair having someone root around in my mouth twice a year is OK by me!
