Fairies and Flowers, November 30, -0001
By A Customer

This is one of my favorite books written by Judy Griffin. It's packed with useful information and recipes. You will find this to be a great reference book used over and over again. Judy has many years of experience and has created a wonderful line of flower essences, tonics, essential oils and blends to help us keep our lives balanced.

very disappointed, November 30, -0001

I just received this book and was very disappointed. I had tried to order it at a book store first to review it before purchasing but the store was unable to order it. There is no index and it is written in a story form with fairy names. I had to flip through the pages to find topics I was interested in and I felt more explanation of some items would have been helpful. I saw the author on a TV show that showed her in the garden, talking about the flowers and showing how she prepared them. I thought the book would be similar. I am planning on returning the book.

Good information, poor presentation, November 30, -0001
By Jason

While the author undoubtedly knows the material very well, the presentation degrades the value of the book. There is a lot of good information in the book about the use of herbs and oils for health, but it is mostly surrounded by stories of fairies giving lectures, falling in love and getting married. If you only plan on reading the book once and putting it in a box, then it can be an interesting read. However, I purchased the book as a reference. The actual information is very difficult to find because of the integration with the stories and there is no index whatsoever. I would not recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a reference book, but instead a book titled "Mother Nature's Herbal" by the same author which covers the information in a reference style book.
