This is a small scaler with knife-sharp surfaces. It works well for very small and hard to reach areas. It's about one third the size as a normal scaler (at the tool-tip). It is stainless steel, has a wide, hollow handle for light and easy grip. Can be sterilized and will last for many uses. Not a toy or a imitation, it is a true dental tool. First rate product.
