Product Description:

Orofacial Pain: A Guide to Medications and Management brings together guidance and information on the rational use of medications for the treatment of chronic orofacial pain. Focusing on clinically relevant information throughout and aiming itself squarely at the needs of dentists and other clinicians working directly with orofacial pain, the book covers the use of oral, injectable and topical medications for managing neuropathic and musculoskeletal pain, headache, and uncommon orofacial pain disorders. Useful features, such as discussion of the top 60 medications prescribed for orofacial pain, are integrated with comprehensive coverage of drug types, pharmacolegal issues, and the interaction of medication management with other treatment strategies.

I highly recommend this book to all individuals that are interested in orofacial pain from an evidence based perspective. Dr. Clark is the Godfather of Orofacial Pain. There is no one better than Dr. Clark. This book is extremely well written. Each topic is condensed with a lot of information but not long in length which makes it easy to read.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Outstanding Publication, August 27, 2013

I am a lecturer in oral medicine and pathology outside the United States. I've already read many books related to these subjects. Although the book deals with complicated clinical cases, the author's experience is clear by his amazing, simple and smooth language skills which make it easy to be understood even by beginners. I highly recommend everyone, related to dentistry fields, to buy this book.

I would have liked the book to be more clinical and although has a lot of information sometimes one needs the practical side of learning. Need to continue searching for a better book in orofacial pain
