I have used Opalescence before, but never 35%. My gums were sooo tender after only 4 hours of use and never with the lesser concentrations. I could barely brush my teeth for fear of hitting my gums. For 4 days after using!! It tore them up!! (some had gotten on my gums when I initially put the trays in and I wiped it off but still........)

 Short application time and quick delivery, June 24, 2010

I used opalescence 10% with *custom made case* before. Now I got the 35% refill, which has a much shorter application time. The effect is very impressive. The downside is I have to tolerate the side effect.... the subsequent sensitive teeth. Using a anti-sensitive toothpaste can decrease the sensitivity to a certain extend. BTW I love the short application time.
Beware, if you apply too much, it can bleach your gum to white too.
The product delivery time is also very quick!

This is a great product. I used the 10% concentration from my dentist (who charged $60!!! rip off!), I saw about equal results with the 10%, but it took a few weeks. And I had to wear the trays overnight. With the 35%, its only half an hour!! Its a lot nicer. Considering I have to wear orthodontic retainers at night.
DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT GET THIS PRODUCT UNLESS YOU HAVE CUSTOM MADE TRAYS FROM YOUR DENTIST!!! They cost $100 from mine, but they are well worth it!!! Do not buy the do-it-yourself trays!!! This product works MAGIC if you get the custom tray!!

This is great for those who dont want to leave a tray on all night...it works great and I am very happy with it. My smile has been made over in a matter of weeks! You will definitely see a difference with each use. Great product!
