Sally is one of my favorite writers for children books. She does it time and time again, my 7 year old twin daughters love her books we read 4-5 of them each nigh before bed.

I just met a little boy whose teeth are eroding and he is only 2! Thank you for writing this one, Sally. It can be such a challenge to get my little ones to brush. We have no idea of the importance of these little things when we are young. I will read this one to them and create a ritual around their teeth brushing so it becomes a positive habit. Thank you, Sally, for your help here!

With unexpected rhymes and adorable drawings, "Who Needs Teeth?" answers its own question. We all do, even little ones who may otherwise think that they are invulnerable. A great book to be read as part of a nighttime ritual! Finally a multicultural series for helping kids.

What a fun way to have kids see the benefits of caring for their teeth!
Would be great for dentists to have this to give to children at their first visit.
Also great for teachers to use as a reference when teaching about oral care.
Kids love the illustrations and the rhyming helps to remember the messages.

This is a simply adorable book! A charming story of the importance of healthy teeth. Anyone who has struggled to get their children to brush their teeth, will love this book! Delightful rhymes that remind our little ones that teeth really need attention and care. I read this to my niece and she promptly got up and said to me, "Auntie, I am sorry, but I have to go and to brush my teeth now." Great message!

The illustrations are whimsical and amusing with one monster after another trying to help the hero reach his goal of becoming a monster. By taking the advice of one of the monsters, the hero changes his direction in life and chooses to be nice. This is more than a nice book, it is a book with an important lesson. It offers the basis for a discussion on the topic of impressing others, but impressing them with kindness rather than meanness.
