I am a nurse and I love this book. I got it because I wanted to have a good resource for CAM (Complementary and Alternative Medicine) for my self and as a knowledge base for my patients. Not at all disappointed.

Seriously heavy reading but if you want to understand the chemical and physiological reasons behind why herbal medicines work this is a great resource! Loaded with the bio-chemistry and constituents information!
