This is a great deal folks, if you happen to be in a store and see these at a lower price that's great, BUT if you drove ANYWHERE to get them you just lost money. These are delivered to your door and if you have Amazon Prime (as I do for years) 2 day shipping is free. You need to think the whole thing through before you give a deal like this 1 star. I love having to go no farther than my front door to get them. Just for the record, nobody is questioning the quality of the product which is 4/5 stars easy. IMPORTANT NOTE: It seems that from time to time Amazon changes the seller for these and not all are on Amazon Prime so look closely if that is important to you. One week it is and the next week it is not. Still a great product.

I just received these batteries, they work good, and the shipping was fast, but they are old stock. The date on the back of the package says 2006 so they are 4 year old batteries and the white paper was yellowing so these are not very fresh batteries but so far they are working.

The picture shown on the Amazon site was deceptive! The package came in two little torn out sections from a big (wholesale?) package. The package looks old and it's unknown how long the batteries will last. Even though they are cheap, they may have short lifespan, which actually will cost you more than the fresh batteries sold on the market!

I purchased these batteries for my Porsche Key Remotes, and both keys failed after 6 months, normally they work for several years. Need to replace again. Turns out, they aren't as cheap as you think, since they have such a short life.

They were shipped fast, arriving three days after I ordered them, in a standard business envelope. However, they're not as pictured - instead of the two-pack pictured, there are two batteries from one of those cellophane sheets of many batteries you'll see advertised elsewhere on Amazon. Who needs the cardboard, right? The drawback is that there's no expiration date on the cellophane, so you don't know what kind of shelf life they'll have. On the up side, these are made in Japan, unlike the Ray-O-Vacs.

You're thinking @ just over $3 it's a good deal right? Wrong. I ordered 2 sets of these. Multiple clicks into ordering there was only one option for shipping. Total cost was almost $14. After ordering, the shipping said it'd take 2.5w to get here. Two days later i decided to stop by best buy and the price was no different. Approx 7 days later a box that could probably fit 30 sets of these batteries arrives. Behold 2 sets were inside taking a notable fraction of space (in between 6 air bags) - Ridiculous.

Good batteries, caution when dealing with resellers., November 26, 2010

Reading the reviews of the others, I was careful to avoid any of the resellers mentioned. I went with National Deals and was annoyed to find out I also received 2006 stock/package batteries. They don't have an expiration date per say, but companies update the copyright year so it's a reasonable assumption.
The blister pack was new and they work, so no complaints. There were no signs of yellowing and they come in an industrial blister pack from Japan. I like the foil packaging better than the US packaging counterparts. That being said, the voltages check out and they should work ok.
Energizer batteries are a good bang for the buck, I have a preference for Duracell since they seem to me to have better reliability and last a bit longer (that's why I docked it a star).
Note: This isn't the place to ding the resellers and or amazon, but they should be more forthright with the stock they're actually selling.

I found the 'medical' grade Duracell batteries for $1.69 for a two pack from an online pharmacy (hocks pharmacy). These are way over priced compared to that. The batteries were the ones advertised, just not inexpensive.

NOTE: Buy from a good seller or amazon and you won't have any problems.
I bought these batteries to replace a battery in a game that gives gameboy color games the ability to save. There are many guides on how to do this online. It was very easy and this battery worked in this process very well. Not only did it work just as well as the stock battery, but it is supposed to work better... This battery supposedly allows the save data to save longer than stock gameboy color batteries(which is a really long time!). Other than that, a battery is a battery; whats to rate about them? As long as you buy from a legitimate seller you won't have any problems.

I'm in too good of spirits to rant. But the gist is this company sells old dead batteries, so you probably want to look elsewhere. Both of the batteries were dead.
My managers buy batteries online also, they have the same problem. Lots of companies apparently have a ton of dead batteries they are just pawning off instead of recycling.

If you shop around, especially in retail stores, the price of these exact batteries are $5-10 per pair. To be able to get them significantly less here is a great deal. I haven't been able to find a better price.
Personally, I don't care if these don't come in retail packaging, it's the same battery from the same manufacturer. Just check to ensure that the expiration date hasn't passed. I've been using these in my garage door openers in the last several months and they function just fine.

The title says it all. The batteries I got were from the seller National Deals and were half a decade old (from 2006). No matter what the brand, there is bound to be some leakage. The reason I give it 2 stars and not 1 is because at least right now the one battery out of the pack that I am using seems to be working fine.

The seller offered to replace one of the batteries that ended up bad when the package got mangled in shipping.
The batteries are Energizer brand. This price is less than I could find locally.
There is no expiration date on the individual packs because they are from master Tear Strips. But, the seller is happy to let you know what the date is from the master strip. These are brand new.
Some people complained about tear pack batteries. I don't mind, as long as I know the date. Besides, there's less package to end up in the landfill (or hopefully- recycled).
The seller includes a printed receipt. That's a nice touch, since this is a business purchase.
Would I buy from them again? Yes!

The batteries themselves work fine. However, the item photo does not have the same packaging as the item that was actually shipped, though the item I received was in fact Energizer brand watch batteries in a sealed Energizer package.
But for such a low price with free shipping, who can refuse? Just be aware when purchasing, the batteries took 7 days from clicking "Buy" to their arriving at my house, and they arrived in a normal mailing envelope.
When it's all said and done, I'll probably purchase this item again the next time I'm in need of this battery type.

I ran these batteries on my fancy new battery tester and the tester flashed red and said that they were almost flat so perhaps they are old stock as a lot of folks have said here. Will use them for a couple of weeks and if they are indeed duds will be reporting this outfit to the FTC.

Make sure you order directly from Amazon and not the other Marketplace sellers. The price may be a few cents more but it's definitely worth it to know what batteries you're getting.

I ordered the replacement batteries for an electronic scale. It seems that they arrived almost before the order was completed. It took two days, tops, to get to the Atlanta area. The batteries came in a standard envelope with extra cardboard backing for protection. Both of them went into the scale and it was back in business.
The cost was about a third of local vendor prices. Limited Goods sent me email within a week to ask if I was satisfied with the purchase. I am very satisfied with their performance.

These are batteries. You put them in your Pokéwalker to bring your Pokémon with you on long walks. They function as batteries are intended to function. I love them.
I love them until the Pokémon I brought with me vanishes into the cold, soulless world of a blank LCD. I revive my beloved pokémon with my Nintendo DS, it has amnesia; it does not remember our walk. I am sad. ...My misery quickly becomes anger; a quest for vengeance begins. I take apart the Pokéwalker to reveal the culprit. "Your assassination attempt has failed for I keep backups!" I proclaim with cackling glee. With a flat head screwdriver I pry the culprit from it's home and deposit into a makeshift cardboard prison where I keep others of it's kind, awaiting processing at our local recycling facility. For now, my Pokémon is safe.
The empty space in my pokéwalker must be filled with life once more. Lucky for me, this is a 2-pack.

The page where one might buy an Army pocket watch shows these batteries as an accessory for the watch. It is not, but about 5 the times the physical size. The actual battery is a SR626W. I ordered these from Amazon and not another seller. Buyer beware!

I found these on Amazon but thought I would just pick them up at my local drugstore chain store (begins with Wall.) The price there was the same price as a two-pack here. The only thing bad about buying a 2-pack is that I forget where I put them, so I end up buying 2 packages anyway. I know I have an extra around here from a set I bought for a watch about a year ago.....

I needed to replace the BIOS battery in my wife's computer and this did the trick. I have purchased this product twice (last time was for a remote for the Pelican System Selector Pro Pelican Pro System Selector- PL957). Couldn't find the second battery so I had to purchase again :). Anyway, they are not old batteries, they came in original packaging and I just tried the remote and it is still working perfectly.

I ordered a couple of batteries for my mountain bike computer. They work fine and were shipped fast. The price was not the very cheapest, but it was certainly better than going to a Walgreen's store by a long shot.

These batteries must be counterfeit. They claim to be Energizer but they came in bulk packaging without a label and they do not work very well. Voltage is not accurate -- I put one of them in a Tiffany clock that keeps perfect time, but it now loses 20 minutes a day... I put another one in a digital thermometer and it does not work at all. I had given the seller a good review because they arrived promptly, but I did not try to use them for a week or two... They had no expiration date, so perhaps some out of date product was used and repackaged. WALK AWAY FROM THAT SELLER.

Purchased these batteries from JMD-Batteries and am very happy with the product and shipping. Received free and quick. Batteries work great. Used them to replace batteries in a 2004 car remote, so the original batteries lasted 7 years. Can't beat and energizer battery.

The batteries are fine. They arrived in the manufacturer's original 2-pack with a "use by" date seven years out. I bought direct from Amazon. If you want the cheapest price, there's a good chance you'll get it from an Amazon Marketplace (3rd party) seller. Just know you might get a couple of batteries that were part of a larger package. If that worries you, pay a little more and buy direct from Amazon and you'll probably get packaging that is the same as in the store.

The vendor is able to offer free shipping, in part, i think, because the packaging material is simple, yet, effective. I like it this way.
There is also an information sheet about expiration marking. I appreciate the explanation and the vendor's attention to details. If I need to buy batteries again, I would prefer a vendor just like this one.

I got these batteries for a good price on amazon and went with them. I have only used them in an E-Pass..for tolls... so i cant really speak on their performance. I have had them in there for a year and still maintain a full charge.. Real good batteries

A drug store sells it twice the price of this one. So it is a good price. I am causcious buying this kind of things because I have had fake stuff that they won't last or break easily. I took these batteries to a store to test their strength and they are the real stuff. Shipping is fast enough too.
