Yosemite National Park draws hordes of international visitors each year. Why not take the tour in uncrowded style with Journey #5, videographed in Autumn in the dramatic afternoon light through an aesthetic wonderland. You'll cycle past the historic gold rush towns of Sonora, Jamestown, Chinese camp, Angel's Camp and through the live-oak dotted hills of Calaveras County of Mark Twain fame.

Perfect for its purpose, May 13, 2007
By Laurie (Minneapolis, MN)

I have this and Bike-O-Vision's California Coast. Both are excellent when I want to put some time in the saddle on a cold Minnesota winter's day. Someone else complained and said she bought her husband a Chris Carmichael dvd instead. I have those too, and some Spinervals, and they are great for their intended purpose - a tough work-out and/or a work-out focused on improving one or more aspects of your cycling fitness or skills. But when I want to bike through some gorgeous California countryside on a sunny California day, I put a Bike-O-Vision in.

Fun and enjoyable ride...while still in my basement!, March 15, 2007
By Snow Ranger (Minnesota)

I recently purchased the "Yosemite" DVD to use while getting ready for biking season here in central Minnesota. I totally enjoy the video, the beautiful music and the lack of distracting "coaching", commentary and pop-ups that are found in the other DVDs I use for bike training. (I also appreciate not have to look at the virtual rider's backside all through the DVD.) I would like to see more of the great parks, like Yellowstone, Rocky Mountain and the Blue Ridge added to the series, but this is a great start!

Lots of variety, January 13, 2009

Never a boring ride! Gorgeous scenery and enough variety to keep you watching while you spin. I listen to my own music since I like to spin to rock, disco, and dance tunes. However, the music on these DVDs makes for great listening and it goes nicely with the landscape. I play it when I'm warming up, cooling down, and even when about the house. The virtual rides on these DVDs can't be beat. No distracting "other riders" or graphics; just beautiful scenic roads to navigate and enjoy. Really makes you feel that you are in the virtualized location - which is the point.

love the scenary, but not the music, August 30, 2008

5 stars for the scenary/2 stars for the music.
The background music is (very pleasant) classical music.
If you want to buy this DVD to exercise to (like I did), you probably will not want to exercise to classical music.
Ideally, there would be no music (just the sounds of nature). Having said that, one can simply turn the sound down or off.

I Highly Recommend this Yosemite DVD ride, July 25, 2007

I take this beautiful ride through Yosemite's National Park in Autumn winding my way through the mountains, lakes, meadows and dramatic overlooks any time I'd like. It's awesome. The video clip shows passing by Tenaya Lake.
I also get a look into the California Gold Rush Country with historic towns, all very interesting, and you feel like you're really passing through.
As a regular cyclist I usually workout indoors in the winter time and this video is a great compliment. The "forward-motion" views are motivating and keep you pushing ahead to do more. I have all their rides and use them almost daily. It's the very good investment for indoor cycling. They have a large collection of scenic rides so I never am bored. The main thing I was looking for in a cycling DVD was a nice scenic ride and nothing with graphics or riders on the screen too. I am more interested in a distraction-free experience and the Bike-O-Vision rides fit the bill. I use the music that comes with the dvd or for a change I put my own music on. I highly recommend these dvds.

Beautiful scenery, March 7, 2012

I used this for the first time today. I saw beautiful trees, great rocks, and beautiful bodies of water. Unfortunately I have NO idea what any of it is. There is no commentary on the DVD. I am not familiar with the area and would love to have learned something while I was riding.
