Keeps the bike clean, January 3, 2009
By William D. Back (Jacksonville, FL)

This was a little bit smaller than I expected, but it covers the frame of my bike, catching the sweat in the winter. I highly recommend this for those who can't get outside. It is really easy to put on the bike and take off for washing.

better than a old towel, February 23, 2009
By brids4 (California, MD)

It works just like it's supposed to. It does not interfere with my legs, like I thought it might. I use to use an old towel to keep the sweat off my bike, but sometimes it would fall off mid-ride or it would sweat through. I know, gross. I have seen bikes that weren't taken care of and you'd be surprised how much damage sweat can cause on your expensive bike.

Great Buy, January 2, 2010
By M. Wasserman (NJ USA)

It definitely does what it is supposed to. It fits my 56cm road bike perfectly. The Velcro straps are long enough to fit any bike easily. The material has some stretch to it as well.

This product works exactly as you would expect it to. It attaches to your indoor bike via some very generous Velcro straps and easily absorbers my hour plus rides.

Fits most, depending on headset/bars., December 13, 2010
By Vandalgrad (Kellogg, ID USA)

I have straight handlebars with bar ends and an aero bar. This particular model has velcro to wrap around the headset but it isn't perfect if you have anything other than drop handlebars.
Nonetheless, I've got it on an it works great. You hardly notice it is there.

Just use a towel, February 24, 2012
By CD (Japan)

Save yourself the hassle and expense of this item and just throw a towel over the top tube. Besides, after a few washes, the elastic tends to lose its elasticity, making this item a bit saggy. Now that I've had this for a while, I find a towel to be faster, simpler and just as good or better.

Sweat Rag, and a good one at that, August 14, 2011
By RizzleDizzle (Here, There, and Everywhere)

Allright folks, let's be honest, If you've ever used an indoor trainer, you know a couple things.
1. It is EXTREMELY BORING, and watching TV or listening to your Ipod make it a marginally more enjoyable experience.
2. You're going to sweat buckets, even with a fan on hurricane mode, or Level Eleven.
Therefore, to make things slightly more tolerable, and to keep copious volumes of stank rotten sweat off your floor, or your girlfriends yoga mat (now converted into your own personal sweat absorbing, nast-o-mat), you're going to need some greater 'protection'.
In come the cheapest sweat rag you can buy. For <$15 you're going to get a grey thong thing, with some weird velco straps.
It's not going to be grey when you ride however, your buckets of sweat will be absorbed into it's terry clothe 'aide' making it a blackish color with sufficient time.
So in sum, If you're concerned about ruining your bikes finish, or getting a ridiculous amount of sweat on your floor, you're going to need one of these. And this just works.

Don't waste your time, May 18, 2011
By K. CARTER (Maryland)

Don't bother getting this. For one thing, it's not really black. It's a gray/black.
I use a kitchen towel now. On one end of the towel, use a safety pin on each side and hook it around one of the brake cables. Do the same to the other side. The back side hook it around the post with a safety pin.
You just saved yourself some money!

Should be bigger and with side drops, March 15, 2011
By Matthew K

This is great; pretty simple idea, just something to cover the bike. I, however, rock my head from side to side when I get tired and sweat will sometimes land on the side of the bar, so I still have to wipe it down when I'm done.
It would be nice if this had some kind of cloth that hung down on the sides to protect the side of the tube, but that shouldn't be too hard to rig together on my own.
Basically, if you sweat excessively, get this and keep your head straight.

Does what it is supposed to do!, December 18, 2011

Not much to say about this one... it does what it is designed to do which is not glamorous... money well spent to protect my components... I only wish the velcro connections were a bit more user friendly for a triathlon bike configuration!
