That's It, I'm Done..., September 20, 2009
By Robin Teagarden III

I've been wearing Timex watches for running for at least the past 15 years. I've been using a Timex Heart Rate Monitor watch, a data recorder and this GPS Speed and Distance sensor for the past four years. Unfortunately, I've been very frustrated with Timex because the watches have repeatedly stopped working for no good reason and now the GPS Speed and Distance sensor has stopped working. I just received another Heart Rate Monitor replacement because it'd stopped working so I'm not going to go through the trouble of replacing this latest breakdown. When it's worked, it's been ok, not great, just ok. The thing that's upset me is that I haven't been able to share my data with anyone on the web like everyone is able to do with other similar units. Also, the software for recording the data hasn't been updated in years, it's almost as if Timex just decided to stop trying to compete with Garmin and Polar.
I just wish I hadn't made the mistake of sticking with Timex all these years, it's been frustrating...

Timex Navman 11 Sensor, February 18, 2006
By Eric E. Clarke (Barbados)

The vendor (Pro Sport Watches) included a watch (at no extra cost) along with the sensor and this turned out as a plus for me since I had ordered only the sensor. The system works fine and I would recommend Pro Sport Watches to my running friends.
Regards
Eric E. Clarke

Good product, June 17, 2010

I bought this product six months ago, and I have been very happy with it. It is a great accessory for a timex bodylink watch.
Pros: It is lightweight, and fairly precise, although may lose accuracy in curved tracks or when running under too many trees, but this latter setback seems to be common for GPS devices.
Cons: It is necessary to avoid movement for a faster connection and in urban areas (surrounded by buildings or trees) it may take three to five minutes for the watch to connect to satellites, but usually in open areas it connects quickly.

Bought this for my husband who runs several days a week. He loves it. The battery seems to run down quickly (usually lasts 1 month).

T5D761 GPS Sensor, October 12, 2009

It takes a long time to locate a signal. Once it finds a signal it works fine; however, it does lose it's signal every once in a while which is a bit frustrating. Not real excited about the product at the time.

Battery life drives me crazy, June 21, 2011
By Sojourner Truth (Tennessee, USA)

Or should I say "Lack of battery life drives me crazy?!?!?!"
I own the complete Timex Bodylink system: watch, heart rate monitor, speed-distance sensor, and the little remote data recorder, as well as the computer software and the cable that connects the data recorder to the computer. Purchased the system in 2006 and have used it since.
I am pleased with the entire system -- except -- the battery life on the GPS Speed-distance sensor is awful. The sensor uses one AA battery and it eats the batteries. My workout is 1 hour, 15 minutes daily and I must replace the battery about every third day. I recently started using 2500 MaH AA NiMH rechargable batteries that I use in my digital camera; they last as long as the alkaline AA batteries but are rechargeable, so, I don't have to throw them away after each use.
