Does its job, May 23, 2009

Does its job well. If you attach something to it more than like 5"L by 3"W then the item will get in your way. Good for small pouch or multitool though.

I use this to mount my cell phone bag to. Great location for your phone while riding, you can here your phone ringing. You ask why take your cell phone while riding. Well on 10/17/08 I was out for my daily ride and the phone rings, its my son he broke his wrist playing soccer at school. Glad I had this mount to carry my phone with.

Better than a plastic strap, July 10, 2011
By Richard A. Koch

I think that the packs should come with this type of connector to start instead of the plastic strap and plastic bolt that that eventually wore out and snapped...
I use this new connector to hold on a Topeak mobile phone bag onto my mt. bike frame since I ride alone a lot and I use different gps tracking sw on my iPhone. I also trust this connector/bag to hold my vehicle keys.
Around 2 seasons and this connector is still strong and trustworthy.

Plastic....what do you expect?, April 6, 2011

I gave this a 2 star instead of a 1 because it does work
but because the mount is plastic, the very first time I made a move that pushed on the phone pack, it snapped the plastic. I'm going to need to return or replace this and two other non-durable Topeak plastic parts.

I KNOW I CAN USE IT WITH SMALLER BAGS LIKE THE CELL PHONE BAG WHICH I ALSO PURCHSED. SOMEONE PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVE ONE OF THESE......ONLY ONE STAR CAUSE I'M NOT SURE WHERE TO USE THIS. NO DIRECTIONS IN PACKAGING.

Simple solution, December 7, 2011

I find myself lending my Topeak Alien to others more than I ever use it. Putting the tool up on my stem using the F66 just makes it easier to access when I need to get it out. I have one of the larger Alien tools and it is nice to get it out of my hydration pack. Buy it if quick and frequent access to your Topeak accessory is necessary.

Not necessary and chancy, April 29, 2012
By John T. Baker

Ordered this F66 Fixer to avoid the problem of having the phone bag fit loosely and sloppily. Figured this would allow me to mount the bag more securely to the stem bolt. Great idea but two things: 1) It isn't necessary; the handle bar mount that comes with the bag grips very tightly and is secure, and 2) the bolt that comes with the F66 Fixer is very short. It did not fit my Cannondale and I could not use it.
