4.0 out of 5 stars.  Age/Size Not Mentioned, May 29, 2008
By Christy Davis (Delaware)
We just ordered this and received it and it will be going back. Amazon doens't say the recommended age/size for this seat. We opened the box and it says this is recommended for 6 months to 33 pounds. My daughter is 34 pounds so we can't use this.

The pad included in only attached to the seat at the top, not in the seam by the childs butt or at the bottom of the seat. There are holes in the padding for the straps to hold the kid in, but no other way of keeping the padding on the bottom of the seat.

3.0 out of 5 stars.  Cute, but not well made, May 21, 2008
By K. Sulzer (Lebanon, PA)
I just got this booster seat about 20 minutes ago.
I was very disappointed to see that the only way to attach the cushion is with 3 hook loops on the top of the cushion. These elastic loops are on a thin strip of fabric. It does not lay nicely at all on the seat.

The tray was also a VERY snug fit. The release latches are very tight, and don't slide into the tray slots easily at all.

Over all, it's a cute seat. But it could have been made a lot nicer by the manufacturer taking a bit more fabric to cover the back of the seat, as well as a clip or something to hold the pad against the back.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Would buy again, Love this Booster., April 6, 2008
By Lisa Cool (usa)
We bought two of these for our twin grand daughters and we are very happy with them. They are much nicer than having large high chairs taking up space. The girls sit comfortably in them and they are able to sit at the table with the BIG people which they seem to enjoy.

1.0 out of 5 stars.  Cute, but UNSAFE..., May 19, 2007
By 2BabyGirls4Us (California)
I bought this instead of a high chair for the convenience factor and it is really cute. It is a HASSLE to assemble the straps, and once they are assembled, they don't securely lock into place. The straps hang on my a tiny hole, and at the right angle can be pulled out, which I find dangerous for baby. The point of straps is for safety, and they should not be easily removed from their base. We kept it anyway, but had to "rig" it ourselves by locking the straps in with our own invention. Good Luck figuring this thing out!

3.0 out of 5 stars.  Okay, September 7, 2007
By Karen (NH USA)
This is an okay seat. The cushion is cute but not cushy and not really hooked well. It slides all over the place. The cushion does wash well though. But honestly we have taken it out and just wash the plastic. The waist straps are too loose and don't tighten. Luckily our son is big enough so the tray helps hold him in. It does the job if you don't have enough room for a highchair but you may want to keep looking.

3.0 out of 5 stars.  Good but not great!, July 7, 2009
By C. Pegues (TX)
The best thing about this booster seat/high chair is the portability of it. It will be great to take with us to travel. The padding on the seat and back are pretty thin and the pad is not attached at the back. Therefore, when you put the baby in the seat the pad tries to slide down. Very annoying. It does attach very securely to the chair so that is good. Overall, I would say it is a good product.

3.0 out of 5 stars.  Gets the job done, January 25, 2009
By Renee (Lake Stevens, WA)
I've been looking for a booster seat that was BPA, Phthalate, and PVC/Vinyl free. Most manufactures I contacted wouldn't tell me what the products were made of specifically. I called Summer Infant Inc. and the first person I talked to was able to tell me the seat was made of #5 plastic (polypropelene) and the seat cover is cotton. Now no one sells this chair in stores so you have to purchase online. I wish I could have checked it out first. The tray is really difficult to put on and off. I usually just pull it up to the table instead. IPt does has a harness which is great and it straps around the back and bottom of the dining chair which is nice. A lot of nooks for food to get into though because it folds up for travel. I wish the cover was nylon instead of cotton, it requires a lot of washing. Really the only reason I bought it was because it's BPA and PVC-free. If you don't care about those two things I'd go with something else.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Summer Infant Deluxe Comfort Booster-Pink, October 30, 2008
By Chle's Mmmy (FLORIDA)
I this booster seat! It folds up and it is easy to take anywhere! It is easy to clean and store as well. I use it for feeding and I even put Chloie in it while I am cleaning, that way she doesn't make a mess and she plays happily while she watchs me clean. I can take the tray off and slide it right up to the table. It was inexspensive and i get to use it for a long time. I have had it since Chloie was 5 months old. I am not worried abt buying an exspensive high chair, because this chair does it all.

2.0 out of 5 stars.  unintentional downgrade, January 27, 2011
By KYP (Lakewood, CO United States)
I have a Fisher Price Healthy Booster but needed something more "compact" for my upcoming trip to Asia. I learned that hard way of what I liked was considered GINORMOUS abroad and would be cumbersome at most.

I picked this and the Munchkin Booster as my travel booster. I wanted to have the same level of comfort as my FP as my son has been using it for almost a year an half and will sit in it during meals out (It's really nice to keep the FP in the trunk of my car so we can eat out anywhere w/o the fear of dirty boosters or none at all). I want something that's lightweight, durable and compact (which my FP is NOT).

Munchkin came first - kinda dig it but the harness/seat was a bit tight for my 2 year old (he's in the 10% so if you have a average size child, that's not for you). It's super light and compact. There's a storage compartment for all feeding essentials and a couple of diapers. All very self contained.

The next day the summer infant came. In a LARGE box. Ugh! Opened it up and hoping it'd be compact, disappointment to find it's not. At least it's thin, and it is lightweight, but not really compact. The thing is poorly made. I felt like at each snap open of the arms or the legs it would cause the thing to break or just snap off. Once it's put together, it's sturdy but not pretty. The cover on the back rest seems pointless - you have to secure it over the top, well what about the bottom. I can just see that backrest cover shimmy off as my antsy child fidgets in his seat. It's definitely NOT aesthetically pleasing, I don't know what to do with the tray if we were to travel with it. It doesn't snap onto the seat when the seat is in the closed position. And the lack of a cover over the tray just seems dirty. The seat seemed narrow - which would be fine since my son is petite, but the depth of the seat and where the tray landed wouldn't have been comfortable b/c he's short. The one thing that was nice about this is that the harness had 2 adjustments on the base of the seat. So I could see this being something to grow your child in - but if your child is a chunker, tight squeeze. I wouldn't want to be seen in public with this - the picture looks FABULOUS but it's garish in real life.

THIS SEAT WOULD BE IDEAL FOR YOU IF:
You needed a seat for visitors or grandkids that come by once in a while
Tall/Skinny kiddo
You don't care about aesthetics

If this is your FIRST travel booster, I'm sure you'll love it but if you've had the FP Healthy Booster, it's hard to downgrade! Worst thing is - this COST MORE than my FP (I got it at Walmart).

5.0 out of 5 stars.  The only chair you'll ever need, January 27, 2011
By Katherine R. Johnson
After using fancy high chairs, and even fancier space saver high chairs, seats like this are EXACTLY what a busy mom needs. Here's the deal:

- Most babies are extremely messy, so the less fabric on a baby feeding seat, the better.
- This chair is the PERFECT size. Most other space saver high chairs are too bulky, and cannot be pushed under the dining room table like this one can.
- This chair can be used anywhere, which most other space saver chairs cannot. It's lightweight, compact and easy to set up.
- Here's the deal with the tray - you have to jiggle back and forth to take it on and off -IT'S NOT DIFFICULT. I've had two other space saver seats, where my children could take the tray off on their own, this one they can't which is a BIG plus in my book.

I use this seat as an everyday seat for my 12 month old. It's exactly what I needed, because I don't have time to be cleaning food mess off fabric, or taking fabric off to wash it 3 times a week. It's comfortable, it's the perfect height, and it doesn't have bells and whistles that you don't end up needing anyway. LOVE THIS CHAIR.

3.0 out of 5 stars.  Great Alternative to full size high chair, July 15, 2010
By YaYa4Kylie
This is a great alternative to a full size high chair, however, I had concerns with the safety straps. While they seemed to be secure, the one that goes under the seat and clips together under the chair seat came apart - not from the buckle, but from the strap coming out of the slots. The tray is not simple to remove and the 'height adjustment' feature is hardly worth mentioning. I honestly cannot see a child over 25 pounds using this seat comfortably. It rates great on the 'cuteness' side.

we use this at grandparents house as a high chair. i do not use the tray but just push my toddler up to the table. easy to clean, adjust straps and seems comfortable enough for my baby eventhough it has little padding. i like the way it will fold flat for storage.

2.0 out of 5 stars.  not well made, December 23, 2009
By Saundra D. (MI, USA)
I just received my daughter infant sit today. I am very disappointed. The way you put in the cushion is by three little thin string straps at the top, which isn't even secure, and it dosnt really have any cushion in it. The middle straps where you attach the other two straps in to hold the child in place is unsecured as well. You cannot unjust that strap so it is just loose, so there's really no support in the straps at all. Over all the folding in well done and it cute, but to me not safe at all.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  PERFECT 4 OCCASSIONAL USE, June 4, 2009
By southern girl (mobile, al)
Our godson is 8 months old and we were looking for a high chair for the special occassions when they join us for meals (most holidays). This chair is perfect for those times. Can be cleaned quickly. Straps are very secure around my dining room chair. All in all, a perfect purchase for us. Quick delivery.

The comfort booster is so convenient. I love the way you can easily store it once you are finished using it and it is also easy to clean up. I can carry it with me when I go out of town or if I am going out to eat. I would recommend this booster to anyone.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  yes!, July 3, 2011
By Ashley Kinghammer (Pittsburgh, PA)
I love these seats because they take up almost no room, and are portable.
I didn't like the "padding" as it's not much and gets dirty way too easy.
I didn't like the white waist straps, seriously who puts white straps on a baby's seat that's meant for eating???? All these companies that do that need to get colored straps!
It would also be nice if when it's folded down, that the tray would snap on like the fisher price ones do.
Overall, it's a great seat!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Most useful baby item I own!, June 11, 2011
By Sarah (trying to grok) (Carolinas, USA)
I love this chair. I think it's one of the greatest baby items I own. I bought it to use on vacation, but I use it most often in restaurants instead of using their dirty public high chairs. I take it to every restaurant, every friend's house, everywhere! It's easy to use, easy to wash, and fantastic. Some said that the tray is hard to get on and off, but I agree with the other reviewer that my child is absolutely not strong enough to get the tray off herself...which is more than I can say for my big kitchen high chair! Other reviewers also said that it's awkward to carry, but I disagree: I posted a photo here of how you can strap the tray to the underside of the chair for easy carrying.

I highly recommend this as a travel chair. And I'm buying one as a baby gift right now!

3.0 out of 5 stars.  Its good for the price., June 9, 2011
By Jihae Song
Its easy to secure it onto the chair and my 7 month old daughter loves to sit and play on it.

I wish sliding in and out the tray was easier and the cut marks under the tray was smoother. The plastic scratched my daughter a bit when I pulled her out with tray extended out. I would need to cover it up with paper tape...

Also on a regular height table and chair the booster seat won't slide under the table like it shows on the box. Unless you get a shorter chair. If the arm rest was detachable or bendable outdated seat would slide under the table

Overall it does it's job.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  great chair, June 6, 2011
By lhamotr (santa fe, nm)
I use this chair for kids who cannot yet set up by themselves. It works great. The tray is adjustable for many sizes of toddlers. They can eat or play while sitting up with the chair on the floor against the couch or wall or fastened to an adult chair. It easily folds up and I haven't had any problem with the cloth backing.

1.0 out of 5 stars.  Tray hard to travel with, April 11, 2011
By A. Butcher
The tray does not attach to the seat to travel with. You need two hands to carry it :( I would not purchase this again nor recommend it to anyone. I may just donate it and buy another one. My son slides down in it and the tray is hard to slide on. I was so excited when I bought it, and now am very disappointed in my purchase.

3.0 out of 5 stars.  Flimsy, hard to put tray on, looks nice from a distance, February 9, 2011
By pixlweb
I'm sad to say that this is not wort the $20 I paid. I expected a booster much more sturdy, and usable. This high chair tray is so difficult to put on, it takes both hands and a push with your hips to get it on there. The plastic is flimsy, but I guess thats what you get in a folding chair, right? So I won't let that factor influence my opinion. Good thing the safari animals are cute, or else I'd go back to my huge, ugly, yet practical Graco high chair. Maybe worth $10 new, otherwise I wouldn't buy it used.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Safe and Secure, January 28, 2011
By M. Ford (St. Louis)
I am a childcare provider who was looking for a way to seat small children at mealtime without having to lug highchairs out everytime. This was the perfect item. most times i leave it in the chair because it folds up so the i can still push the chair underneath the table. If i need to take it with me i just take it from the chair fold and put in the car without taking up any space. Love this product so much i bought 2 but will be making another purchase in the near future.

1.0 out of 5 stars.  Great Idea, Poor Execution, December 29, 2010
By Andy
I was traveling with my son over Christmas break and needed a portable booster seat for him. The folding nature of this chair made it look awesome. I even had the product shipped in 2 days because I needed it so bad. The picture of it folded is what got me, it looks so perfect for travel.

Then the other shoe drops. The tray isn't part of the folding process, nothing even attaches it to the folded chair. It's a huge design flaw. Any gains made by portability are destroyed because you have to carry the tray separately. It's a huge pain, especially for travel.

The plastic is hard and not contoured for a nice seating position. It was so cheap I'm debating whether I throw it out or try to return it.

Get the fisher price folding seat instead. I picked that up the day before our flight and the tray firmly attaches when it's folded. He loves it and we still use it at home.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  All you need in a feeding chair., December 23, 2010
By ArmyWife09
I love this chair, and so does my daughter. She has plenty of room for her legs (we had trouble with another comming right down on her legs), and the table adjust to 3 diffrent lenght's so there is rooom for her to grow. the only complaint I have is that the back cushion comes off every time she eats in it, but that is an easy fix. I would definitely recommend getting this chair it is well worth the $20 a much better option than buying a large high chair that you have to make room for in you dinning room that is well over $100, in my opinion :).

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Like this chair (could like it more), December 10, 2010
By Beth (RI)
I purchased this seat for three reasons.
1. My 7 month old loves to stand and after I broke the straps of our regular highchair I decided to get a new one.
2. I have limited space.
3. I didn't want to spend a lot of money!

This seat was easy to set up, unfold, adjust and use right out of the box. Took me 5 mins to have it ready and wiped down. Takes up very little space. Once in it my LO was so happy to be at the table with all of us she didn't even try to stand up. She even ate all of her meal.

I read the reviews and saw that people had trouble with the tray and setting up the seat but that just wasn't the case for me!

The only negative I have and I agree with most other reviews is the cushioning it's thin and it's only on the back. It should have been padded and also on the bottom to deserve a "Deluxe" name! But other than that I'm thrilled with this purchase.

Great seat for the $$$

2.0 out of 5 stars.  Not very good., December 2, 2010
By Sarah Erreca (Bessemer, AL)
This would be fine for traveling but not for everyday use. As others have mentioned, the seat "pad" (I use the term loosely - it's not very padded at all) only attaches at the top and slides all over the place. The straps are hard to tighten and the tray is hard to get on/off. The only good things about this are that it folds up flat and is portable. That's it.

2.0 out of 5 stars.  It worked but not well, October 16, 2010
By Christa K. R. Miller
I own a regular high chair and a space-saver, but I was traveling and so I had this delivered to where I was staying. It did the job, but there were two problems. The decorative cover only comes down half-way (as can be seen in the picture but I did not really think about the implications) so my son kept sliding. And the act of putting the tray on was very difficult and required a second set of hands every time it was attempted.

1.0 out of 5 stars.  Okay as a TRAVEL Booster, October 11, 2010
By Jennifer (Massachusetts)
I gave it a one star because its okay as a TRAVEL booster seat. It's not comfy at all, our baby gets fussy in it because she's uncomfortable in it. There's no padding or cushion padding at all, it's all plastic. We also put the tray in our dishwasher, bottom rack, and the tray somehow stuck to our heating-pan, I think that's what it's called (?) in the bottom of the dishwasher. So I dont recommend washing it in the dishwasher, it's really simple to clean anyways. The straps get pretty dirty pretty fast and when we washed them in the washing machine my husband had a hard time figuring out how to put them back on the booster seat.
So with all those things, it has now become our traveling booster seat, and it's fine for that!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  You Sit Your child in it and feed them -- can't get anymore basic than that, right?, September 11, 2010
By I don't hate everything....
This chair is an alternative to space and other items of the same nature. It is a means to an end and it allows you to Feed your baby/child without the hassle of a big bulky Highchair in your kitchen. It's not complex to use, only having 2 snaps and 1 harness, I'm a father and if I can figure it out anyone can. I'm not claiming to be Ward Cleaver here, but it allows me to feed my daughter, effectively keeping the mess to a minimum, and believe me - fathers can be messy feeders "ha"! I have no problems with this chair, I feel it's safe and secure and my daughter won't go tumbling out of it and onto the floor, which is what is most important.

Buy it if you are cramped for space or have a tendency to be overly neat - like me. It probably isn't the most comfortable chair on the market, but she sits in it and doesn't fuss too much. Then again, how comfortable could a booster chair really be? You won't regret buying this item I wouldn't believe though.

2.0 out of 5 stars.  Get a sewing machine, March 27, 2010
By Saechao (Fremont, CA)
We decided to get this booster for our little one because she hates sitting in cheap restaurant high chairs. The straps broke the first time we tried to mount it on a chair. We thought about returning it but then figured hey, it's only [...], maybe we can just fix it. So, I took out my sewing machine and sewed the straps back on so now its functional. I noticed the threads they used were very cheap and fine, not for heavy duty materials, and the seams were loose on all the straps. So, make sure you have a sewing machine handy to reinforce the seams. I give it 2 starts for poor quality. It goes without saying, you get what you pay for....

1.0 out of 5 stars.  Daughter hates it, March 26, 2010
By J. Hurley
This seat is horrible, the "cushion" is incredibly thin so the hard plastic can be felt easily through it, the tray is useless if you have a chubby baby, because it squeezes their tummy. Every time I try to put my daughter in this thing she gets very upset, the back sits up so straight that when she's in the chair her body is forced forward, I can't find any way to adjust this, even the backs of my own kitchen chairs don't sit this far forward, it's ridiculous. I'll be tossing this p.o.s. in the dumpster today and buying something better. I do not recommend this seat.

By O. Vargas (USA)
I recieved product very fast everything is good but..its description a little off; the pattern on the padding is different in good way to me it looks better but the only con is that now they arent giving you a full sized pad it just covers the back; okay so what if ur baby girl is only wearing a diaper or shorts? her bottom and legs are going to touch the cold plastic so to me thats a bummer but other than that its GOOD! would've given a 5. BTW i will add a picture so check it out & see if u still wanna buy ;)

By Teri (Yuma, AZ)
I love it! It is easy to use. Folds almost flat so we can take with us when we travel or store it when we are not. My 2 year old still uses it at the table when we are traveling and now she is sharing it with her new sister (9 months). I would recommend it for anyone who is on the road a lot or for at Grandma's house.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Great for grandparents!, October 8, 2009
By GrandmaT (Golden, CO)
We purchased two of these when our twin grandsons were coming to visit. They worked great and are so portable. I do wish when it was folded up, that there was a way to attach the tray to it for transporting, but that's a minor thing. We just wrapped the straps around the tray and it worked ok for carrying. The cover is easily taken off for washing and it laundered very well. I plan on recommending for all my grandparent friends!

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Loved it, September 17, 2009
By M. Callahan (Portland, OR)
I love this little seat! It is perfect for moving around and storing since it fold up. It works perfectly for a family who doesn't have a lot of extra space. We have had no problems with it and have enjoyed using it.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Ingenius Design!, August 14, 2009
By Tara M. Soldano (Roanoke, VA)
I was a little skeptical after reading some of the reviews here before making this purchase. Many talked about how there wasn't anything to hold down the bottom part of the seat pad - well, they must have heard you because there IS now a little strap that fits into a tab slot to help!

I just received the chair and put the cloth cover & seat straps together - pretty simple. The seat itself is of course plastic and "ok". It could be a little nicer (cover exposed screws, working parts a little more smooth to work, etc) but overall it seems durable enough and will do the job. The plastic eating tray has an easy to clean smooth top and is dishwasher safe.

The best thing about this seat is the way it all folds together & it's portability. The legs which can be used to give the seat more height, fold out from underneath & lock in place. The seat back folds down onto the seat bottom & the arms fold in to make the whole unit slim. The arms also have nice hand holds for the adult.

It's pink, it's adorable, & it has a great design! Overall I'm happy with this purchase so far!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great High Chair!, April 15, 2009
By E. Holu (FL, USA)
I am very happy with this purchase. I have two for my 14 month old twin girls. The chairs are not bulky- it feels like the girls are sitting at the table with us. The trays are big enough for them to eat on, and small enough to wash in the sink. The cloth padding is easy to clean- toss it in the washer. The chairs fold easily for transport. So glad I bought them.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Great for our Girls!, April 4, 2009
By MontgomeryGirls (USA)
When our oldest little girl turned 2 we figured it was a good time to move her to a "big girl" seat at the dining table, and she was tickled with it! Her baby sis moved into the high chair. I didn't want to wait for our youngest to turn 2yo to get one of her own, so we bought another one. Now they can both sit at the table with us, and they're both very happy with it. Whenever we visit family, we just fold them up and take them along and have instant high chairs without taking up a lot of trunk space. I love that this folds up for travel so we can use it when we're out somewhere rather than restaurant high chairs & boosters that are often not cleaned properly. The only reason why this did not get a 5-star from me is because the fabric lining the seat is kind of chintzy. It's really there for looks, and isn't necessary for use. All in all, I highly recommend this product. It's the right price, durable, folds up, and does what it's made for.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  FEEDBACK, March 19, 2009
By Charles I. Walker (ANDERSON, SC)
THIS IS OUR SECOND COMFORT BOOSTER. OUR FIRST WAS GIVEN TO US BY OUR DAUGHTER FOR HER INFANT SON (TAN IN COLOR). OUR SON HAS AN INFANT DAUGHTER AND WE DECIDED THAT WE NEEDED A SECOND BOOSTER BUT IN PINK DUE THEM BOTH BEING HERE OCCASIONALLY AT THE SAME TIME. WE LOVE THE CHAIR FOR MANY REASONS: 1.QUALITY CONSTRUCTION, 2. EASE OF SET-UP AND OPERATION OF THE TRAY, 3. COLOR SELECTIONS, 4. EASE OF CLEANING. WE WERE VERY INTERESTED IN PURCHASING THE SAME BRAND AS THE FIRST BOOSTER AND WERE ABLE TO SEARCH THE BRAND NAME AND FIND A SOURCE FOR THE SECOND. A QUALITY PRODUCT IN EVERY RESPECT. AS MENTIONED ABOVE THE TRAY IS DESIGNED FOR EASE OF OPERATION WITH REGARD TO INSTALLING AND REMOVING FROM THE BOOSTER - US GRANDPARENTS APPRECIATE THIS FEATURE.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Great seat for the price, February 9, 2009
By Momofseven
The only thing that was not perfect about the seat was that the cover doesn't fasten down, but I knew about that from other reviewers. I would buy the seat again. It's very cute and functional and we love it!

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Love it and love SUmmer infant, February 4, 2009
By J. Thomas (IL.)
We had this seat for about 2 months whenone of the clips on the tray broke making it unusable. I called summer infant and they were so helpful and kind. They sent me a brand new replacement seat right away and aplogized for the troubles. I love this seat as a travel seat for my daughter. Its a little small and They could of designed the pad to attach better, but otherwise I am very happy with this and summer infant, they seem to be a great company

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Nice and can be improved further, January 18, 2009
By Nathan (Rockville, MD USA)
Very portable and sturdy to sit on for our 1-year-old. It broke, however, when I accidentally dropped it from a shelf. Fortunately, it was fixable. It can be much better if the plastic is made from unbreakable one. Another suggestion would be to allow the tray to somehow strap to the chair when carrying.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Pretty in Pink, January 12, 2009
By I. Cuellar (hondo,tx)
This product has come in handy. When we travel to relatives homes it is so easy just to pull out the booster and my daughter can sit at the table with everyone else. The only complaint is the cover moves around too much. I guess I shouldn't complain since it makes it easy to remove and wash.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Pretty Good Chair, December 29, 2008
By Tina Luthro (Killeen, TX)
Don't get me wrong I do like it. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is that I don't like where the straps are positioned on the seat. Just looks funny. Other then that it works great!!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Why spend the money on a full sized high chair when you have this?, July 23, 2008
By Grandma Nan (Pennsylvania)
I am a grandma of a ten month old and a twenty month old. We have two of these boosters strapped to our dining room chairs. The straps are easily adjustable as they grow. The tray is easy to put on and take off and large enough for a sippy and a bowl.It cleans up nicely when they're finished too. We can also leave the tray off and pull them up to the table because it puts them at just the right height. They like that because they feel like they're a part of the action. I started out using the quilted pad, but ended up just taking it off because they would spill so much, and I didn't want to be washing it all the time. The seat cleans up nicely with just a damp paper towel.I'm so glad I got these instead of the traditional high chairs because they don't take up any additional floor space. We had eight chairs with our dining room set anyway.I can see these easily lasting until they are big enough to use the chairs without them. I would recommend this booster to anyone who wants to simplify.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Awesome product! Space-savers dream!, July 18, 2008
By Dhayia's Daddy (29 Palms, CA USA)
Bought this for our 5 mo old daughter and she loves it too! She even sits in it just to play with a rattle or watch a show. Like most children she has a lot of things and at times our living room looks as if she's the only one who lives here. So this product being able to store away is excellent and it's safe, roomy and very cute! Not to mention....the price is excellent too!
Really worth the buy!
Happy Parenting!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Booster seat/portable high chair, May 2, 2008
By J. Wohler
I bought this as a booster for my 2 1/2 year old graddaughter and also for my 6 month old granddaughter when she's able to sit up better. I love it! Since I only keep them once a week it's perfect for our needs. I keep it sitting on one of my dining room chairs but if I need to put it away it's easily done. The padding isn't real thick, but for less than everyday use it's fine.

3.0 out of 5 stars.  Okey for the Price, August 12, 2009
By Sue Crispin (Texas USA)
This was purchased for my granddaughter's visit and worked okey, The tray is difficult to put on and take off. I feel if it was used on an everyday basis it would not hold up well, but for the occasional visit it will do fine.

We bought this as a first high chair for my baby girl while staying at my parents. It's a good size and easy to use. I don't think we will be using it as a booster seat since there's no cusion. But it serves it's purpose at the moment.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Works perfect for a travel booster, September 5, 2011
By wxgoddess7
We bought this when we visited family in Chicago. We traveled to a few houses and the folding for ease of transport helped a lot. Yes, it is bare bones and the cover is for aesthetic purposes only, but we loved the way it worked. I really liked that the back was upright instead of slightly reclined (which my daughter does not enjoy, one bit)!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  great chair, August 11, 2011
By JenK
I purchased this booster seat to take on vacation with us because it breaks down and is easy to transport. It took up little room and was perfect for our trip. We used it in restaurants (cause lets be honest, the chairs they have are disgusting!) and never had any problems. It wipes down easy and the cover on the back comes off quick and easy to wash. My daughter is comfortable in it. We use this one at home now instead of the bulkier one we used for her as an infant. I do not have any complaints about it and would recommend it to anyone with a little girl.

We bought this to take along with us to grandma's house and other trips where you can't haul the big high chair. This works out wonderfully. In fact, I think we'll be using this in a few months as my son's booster seat at our kitchen table.

2.0 out of 5 stars.  Nice to have if it didn't break, January 15, 2012
By Teresa
This product was nice to use, until it broke. The little plastic pieces that fold up and lock in place, that the tray slides onto.. They broke off. Without any mistreatment.. Seems like it was weak due to poor manufacturing. Had it for a little over 2 weeks and it broke.

2.0 out of 5 stars.  Its okay, January 14, 2012
By msaleone
It leans forward too much from what my sister has told me.....I purchased it for my nephew. When she used it for the first time, she mentioned two issues. 1. It leans forward too much so the baby is uncomfortable and 2. It doesn't store well.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Works, January 6, 2012
By Soda (Bremerton)
I bought this because my daughter wanted to join us at the table and I could tell by the picture it didn't have a full cover which was ok for me because I don't want her to enjoy it as much as she did her highchair she never wanted to leave it. She loves it and she is extremly happy. It is easy to clean and put away, complete space saver!
The reason I gave it a four star is because the directoins weren't as clear as I would like them and mine had a broken arm it is a very small break and its still prefectly useable but I can't adjust it very well because of it.
If you want something that is pretty and covered with cloth and plan on useing it until they are like 2 this isn't it but if your looking to upgrade from a highchair and a chair to take with you everywhere, this is your chair. remember 8 times out of 10 you get what you pay for

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Very happy, December 19, 2011
By Nathalie C.
I have been looking for a booster seat to use when dining at my family's. I have tried a few and was disappointed at how unergonomic many of them were. This booster is made more narrow, so children tend to lean less sideways. Furthermore, the table fits snug around the child (18-month old), so there is less food and mess ending up on their laps and on the floor. The table needs to be slid in rather than clicked in, really simple. I would recommend this booster.

2.0 out of 5 stars.  replacement parts, December 15, 2011

I bought a seat like this one 2 years ago. My grandson broke the 2 clips off the tray, and they don't sell replacement clips or trays. Summer Infant offered to sell me a new seat, decided not to get another one, for obvious reasons. FYI

3.0 out of 5 stars.  Its good for the price., June 9, 2011
By amazonMom
Its easy to secure it onto the chair and my 7 month old daughter loves to sit and play on it.

I wish sliding in and out the tray was easier and the cut marks under the tray was smoother. The plastic scratched my daughter a bit when I pulled her out with tray extended out. I would need to cover it up with paper tape...

Also on a regular height table and chair the booster seat won't slide under the table like it shows on the box. Unless you get a shorter chair. If the arm rest was detachable or bendable outdated seat would slide under the table

Overall it does it's job.

This is a crappy junk chair!!!Made cheap and is too low to fit onto the chair...so if you are thinking of taking the tray off and putting it up to your table....Don't bother with this one..
You get what you pay for and the reason this is cheap is because it's a cheap seat!!
