4.0 out of 5 stars.  Great!, January 7, 2008
By D. M. Meckley (Jamestown, PA United States)
These are great! Could be a bit longer, as I prefer to wear them on my arm, they just reach for me, could be a problem for someone more muscular. But reflect well, velcro works great! My whole family of runners use them.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Good quality and bright, April 7, 2007
By cthompson012 (Connecticut)
I keep a pair of these in my bag of running gear. They are very reflective and eye catching to drivers. You can also wrap them around your forearm when wearing a jacket or sweatshirt. Stay Safe and be seen!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  A bike commuter looking for a solution to the oil tattoo, May 16, 2010
By D. J. Hampton
In December I began commuting to work in DC on my bicycle. I usually wear black dress slacks or black suit pants, and the "bike commuter tattoo" caused by pants accidentally brushing against the greasy chain is rarely an issue since they do not show the black grease line. However, work has casual dress days, and I was looking for a way to wear my khaki dress pants to work while riding the bike. I thought it was a pain to delicately fold the pants, ride to work, and unpack them where I would invariably find them wrinkled. There was no bike grease on the pants, but wrinkles are unprofessional.

I had seen these on runners and one day on the way to work stopped a passing jogger and asked what they were. I thought they would be perfect as an additional way to keep my chain side leg from hitting the chain while riding. I ordered them from Amazon and after a month I can tell you they work like a charm. One fold of the bottom of the pants and then velcro one of these over them. Voila...problem solved.

For any bike commuters looking to avoid the chain stains while increasing visibility...these are the bee's knees

Lost one right away since the velcro did not hold. Great idea, just not a great execution.

2.0 out of 5 stars.  Labeled "Leg Bands" but FAR TOO SHORT for Legs, February 19, 2011
By Hans (LITTLE ROCK, AR USA)
The card is labeled "Reflective Leg Bands." One of the bands is not even long enough to wrap around my upper arm. I don't have the problem of loose Velcro that other reviewers have noted, but it takes using both bands of the pair stuck together to be long enough to wrap around one leg. One band might be long enough to reach around the leg or upper arm of a small child. No way is it long enough for the leg or upper arm of an athletic adult in good shape. The good thing about this product is its very bright reflectivity. If the bands were longer, I would rate them 5 stars.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Good Quiality and bright, September 4, 2010
By Jason Ruiz
Quiality seems good, only one few days.. Not scrachy on legs like other bands I have tried. Very bright on second night truck stopped and thanked me making his life easer, he said being able to see joggers better makes him better control his rig on small tight narrow winding roads that I jog on.

2.0 out of 5 stars.  who are these made for, pixies?, November 5, 2010
By T. M. Allington
These are reflective all right, but I'm not sure who they are designed to fit. I have average-sized arms for a woman, not that big, but the bands BARELY fit around my arm. I have to squeeze my arms somewhat, and forget it if I'm wearing a thicker, warmer top for running in cold weather. I can't see how these would fit most men at all.

1.0 out of 5 stars.  Terrible..., December 6, 2010
By WS (USA)
Trying to remove these from the package the velcro fell completely off, as it was not sewn on properly/securely. Very flimsy. Seem to be fairly reflective, but due to the poor quality, we would not buy these again. Still looking for a better alternative for night-time dog walking...

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Keeps me safe, May 16, 2010
By Stephen Lowery (Meridianville, Alabama)
I jog at night on poorly lit streets. This, along with a reflective "sash", truly keeps me safe. I even had one driver stop beside me and thank me for wearing something that allows them to see me. Other approaching vehicles noticably slow down some distance away rather than when they are right on top of me and realize I'm there. Worth the money for the safety it provides.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  A little expensive, but not bad, October 16, 2010
By snuf1029
It's a little more expensive than the normal reflector band, but it's much more durable, and does the job. (as compared to the ones that you can find at The Sports Basement for $1.50)

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Now you see me..., November 19, 2010
By P. Welch (Notre Dame, IN USA)
These little bands are a great accessory for my nighttime commuter biking. I originally bought them so that I could clamp my pants around my ankle instead of having to roll them up--and they work great for that--but even on warmer nights when I wear shorts, I still use them to stay visible. The velcro stays attached, but they made these to that it never itches your skin (the velcro is narrower than the overall band--very clever). And they're cheap. What are you waiting for? Don't be roadkill! (I haven't been hit by a car yet, so they must be working, right?)

3.0 out of 5 stars.  Jog-a-lite reflective bands, December 30, 2011
By Rebecca Bower
These fit my upper arms over a long-sleeved shirt and definately seemed to reflect cars' lights (I walk and run at night). I can make them smaller if needed. They did seem a little flimsy however, I don't think this will effect use and wear. I would have given them 3 1/2 stars if it had let me.

3.0 out of 5 stars.  get two for each leg, December 24, 2011
By coody
each one is fourteen inches long. after allowing for over lap for the velcro clouseres makes them shorter yet. measure around the clothing you want to use them with. i put two together because a got them to use around the cuffs of my insulated snow pants. i still need to attach some more velcro for them to hold the way i want. they are well made, the reflective material is nice, they are sewn nicely. a D ring on one end so you could pull one end through and fold it back and secure the velcro would be much better. not a bad item, just too short to hold pant cuffs.
update Jan6,2012: I have two pair of these. total of four. one alone is too short to do anything. two together are long enough but there is not enough velcro to get good adjustmemt. I went to the hardware store and bought one foot of self adhesive velcro. I cut the velcro into four equal pieces and matched up each side and pressed the pieces along with velco thats already on. this increases the adjustability and allows for secure attachment. now two together on each leg serve the purpose of holding the pant legs of my insulated snow pants perfectly, for cycling and other activities. the self adhesive velcro cost less than two dollars. its quite sticky and from previous experience it holds well.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Worth their money - Solid reflector, December 10, 2011

Easy to use. The reflector is good quality and worth every dollar. Wish they had a larger adjustment to place on biceps and not just forearms. Keeps you safer!

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Small bands, June 20, 2011
By Samantha Richter (WA, USA)
These reflective bands are nice for keeping your pants from getting tangled in your chain while riding a bike, but they would not fit around my ankle when I am wearing boots. Seems stupid, but I wear boots when I am on call for my volunteer Fire/EMT position, and I still like to ride my bike, so it was a bummer they didn't fit while in my uniform. I guess they also wouldn't work if someone had rather large calves or ankles.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Perfect for me, April 30, 2011
By Tillie Lamb (Peru, IN)
This product is exactly what I hoped it would be. I bike and I needed a band to bind my pant leg so that it wouldn't get torn by my chain. I also wanted the added bonus of visibility. This product does both.
The length is just right. I'm an average sized female with somewhat skinny ankles, but I wear wide leg flare jeans, these do the trick!
The picture shows a pair of yellow and a pair of white, however you don't get a color choice. Yellow arrived and that works just fine.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Excellent reflective qualities, April 30, 2011

Great for a small dog, great reflective qualities. Probably would be a little better if the width was narrower, but that is just specific for my little 12 lb. dogs.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Perfect For The Night Time Jogger, April 25, 2011
By Mark (Georgia)
I use these at night and I'm very impressed by how bright they are. I had my son use them while I shined a flash light in his direction just to see how well they reflected. Wow! I am so impressed that I am buying another set so I can use two on my ankles and two on my wrists. Get these! You will love them.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  I use them as ankle reflectors, October 5, 2010
By Susan SLP (Boston, MA)
These are easy to put on and the velcro stays stuck until I remove them. They're a good width and reflective 360 degrees around. This is my second pair. I bought the first pair 5 years ago, lost them, tried others and came back to these. I use them when I'm out walking or biking in the early evening. The size is adjustable, so although I wear them on my ankles, they would fit a man's upper arms as well. I love these!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Be seen!, September 18, 2010
By Amazon Shopper (Mtn. View, CA)
The yellow ones really glow when headlights are aimed at these bands; much more impressed than I had expected. Snug fit, but enough give to scrunch your pant legs underneath. Use it for bike riding.

Inexpensive, good velcro, nicely reflective. I use these to tie up my pant legs when biking. It is nice to have some added visibility in addition to functionality. Would definitely recommend these.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  simple, effective, cheap, March 20, 2012
By James A Town (Chicago, IL)
Purpose: daily cycling commuting, year-round. protect pant leg from chain/chainring damage, improved visibility.

Results: After a few weeks of use (only using one so far), it has held up perfectly, is comfortable and seems secure. the design of the hook/loop fasteners means that if your leg tapers down, it could get looser if it slides down, but this has worked great for me so far. would definitely buy again. and, since i only use one at a time, this will last for a long time.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Great reflective. Be aware of chafing, March 20, 2012
By Sports & Tech Fan (Buenos Aires, Argentine)
I use it on my bike, no problem there.
Then to run, I used it on my ankle and got a nasty chafing
Almost couldnt race a 6.21 race I had
After that, I snap it on my wrist or my hand, running
So be careful where you snap it.
the reflective is great, you'll be seen

The bands are highly reflective. Very nicely made. Don't know about being "leg" bands. They fit my forearm well. They are well made and look like they will last. A very good addition to the nighttime visibility ensemble.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Jogalite reflective leg bands, January 21, 2012
By Orion
Very bright and visible and easy to see in the dark when illuminated by the headlights of an automobile. More visible, probably, than LED armbands when lit up by headlights, though not visible at all in the dark, of course. Length adjusts easily with Velcro, but it's a shame the bands aren't a little longer. They aren't long enough to go around your arm over a winter coat (unless you use 2), although you can fasten them around your wrist.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great product, January 18, 2012
By caltron (Atlanta, GA)
This is a must have for running on dark streets. The bands are very reflective and I feel more secure knowing that cars can see me from a distance. I wear the bands over my ankles and fit is comfortable. I have used these for about a month now and have had no problems with the quality of this product.

3.0 out of 5 stars.  Packaging is different than product, January 2, 2012
By C. S. Wood (New Orleans, LA)
The description says "Reflective Bands" and doesn't clarify arm or legs BUT the packaging says "Leg Bands".
These clearly are NOT leg bands. I have small legs and they barely fit around my calves. They also say "Adjustable Hook & Loop Fastening" but there is none of that, just velcro. It appears that this product is different from what the packaging says.

I am happy to wear them on my arms but I think the manufacturer needs to change the packaging.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great. Wrapped in shoe laces., May 22, 2012
By Roger Dodger
Work at night near roadside. Won't put on and take off reflective vest all the time. Bought these and looped them in my shoe laces (knotted the end to get side to side visibility). Thin enough they lay flat. They work great and improve visibility with no hastle at all.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  I like these, April 29, 2012
By Lisa Troglio (St. Louis, MO)
I've been using these bands for a couple of weeks now while mountain biking. Yes, as others have said, they do seem too small to fit around your upper bicep. I wear them around each ankle since I figure those are in motion the most. They are quite reflective and the velcro holds well.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Very Bright - Strong Velcro, April 18, 2012
By Flower Mouth (New York, NY)
I have never had a pair of leg bands before...but these seem very good. They are super bright which I like for night riding in the city and the velcro holds strong. If your pant leg is a little on the short side, the hem may pop out from the leg bands altogether and the bands may slide down your ankle a bit... you just have to fiddle with them a few times.
