Compact and effective tool, March 2, 2010
By Brian (Michigan USA)
|
|
This tool is small, compact, lightweight, and includes many useful tools. I've found myself keeping it around during my recent bike build because it's easier to use this than sifting through all my loose allen wrenches. Also the chain tool worked great.

All you need for your bike on the road, December 15, 2009
By DiscoverYellow (Washington, D.C.)

|
This set of tools is all a biker needs for a modern bike, period. Either on a trail or at home, the tool has it all. (Or course you would need an air pump, hydraulic disc brakes bleeding set, a pedal wrench, etc..)
The tool is very compact for a 18+ function, and is getting that from pretty short keys.
The included soft case while makes it slightly bigger, is nice to keep it from banging against other stuff in your backpack.
P.S. I shopped around for a while before got this one and do not regret a bit. (Now having been using it for over a year I don't regret.)

Cool!!! Definite Must!, April 14, 2011
By Carbonlord (South Florida, USA)

More cool gear for my bike, heck I even use it and when I whip it out, I'm Impressed. Cool and useful! Especially in it's matching bag! All Gear should have a cool case as well!

great tool for lots of stuff, January 19, 2011
By Carolyn, a.k.a. Mom (Balto Co., MD)
|
|
I bought several of these. One is for a friend who trains annual for races. She loves its compactness and all the tools on it. My husband keeps his in his car as a compact tool kit. My cousins and I keep ours with our bikes for quick fixes. I seem to use mine mostly for seat and handle bar adjustments for my kids' bikes, as they seem to grow each time they get back in the saddle. The carrying case is great, too, and it is really well made.

A nut wrench would be nice, July 25, 2011
By bdown38 (Cleveland, OH)
|

To be honest, I'm not sure how to use most of these tools, but I was surprised that there wasn't a nut wrench included. My fault for not reading more carefully. But it's very compact and fits in the seat bag. Luckily, I have a couple of nut wrenches that I was able to fit in the bag as well.

Great Multi-tool, July 2, 2010
By Tortoise (Minneapolis, MN USA)
|
|
To no avail, I searched around bike shops and big box retailers for a high quality multitool. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this tool when I received it. It is functional and includes a good range of tools, such as a chain tool. The width of the tool makes it a little difficult to reach hard to find bolts, but it is still worth getting.

excellent tool, July 28, 2009

Killer tool - no complaints. I'd say it's at least as good as the crank brothers tool that my friend has.

ride saver!, August 18, 2011

This was given to me as a gift, and it is amazing! I had my chain snap on my ride home the other night and was so very glad I had this (and it has a chain tool) to fix the bike on the sidewalk in the dark (used my bike light as a flashlight, and be able to get home! it is not the best chain tool, but is amazing in a pinch, a real commute saver!

I purchased this as a gift for my daughter. It replaced one that was lost. She was delighted, and told me that it had far more features than the original tool.

excellent tool, high quality, February 28, 2012
By Tudor Popescu (Seattle, WA United States)
|
|
Amazon shipped this tool very quickly and in a good package. the tool seems to be of solid construction and quality. I only used it a couple of times and it did it's job very well. It is small enough to fit in a seat bag, pocket or backpack. It also comes with a pouch which keeps it neatly folded, clean and dry. So far I am happy with my purchase.

Feels sturdy, February 2, 2012
By CK
|
|
All metal construction. Feels sturdy but have not have the need to use it other than to set my seat height and put on a bottle cage.
The neoprene case is a plus, but it does not need it.
Love the way the chain cutter is nested in the middle and out of the way till you need it. Most multi-tool has the chain cutter in one of the arm and can get in the way sometimes.

Good portable bike tool, January 2, 2012
By M. Sharp (Simi Valley, CA United States)
|
|
I carry this with me when riding and it does the trick to tighten anything that comes loose or to make any adjustments on the road. The unit is a bit heavy, but it's solid metal and I would worry if it wasn't.

I teach a biking unit to 3rd and 4th graders and am able to wear this kit on my belt... does just about everything without being bulky and heavy. Just a great product, easy to use. Would recommend to anyone.
