| | I bought this set as a Valentine's day present for my boyfriend and I, and we both absolutely love it! Neither of us have ever had an electric toothbrush before, but it is a 150% step-up compared to brushing manually! My dentist immediately saw an improvement, and she said it was visibly decreasing tarter build-up along with strengthening my gums. I personally find that the two-minute timer, including 30 second intervals is extremely helpful as well, even if it is just for a piece of mind. Overall, I find this tootbrush to do an exceptional job at a great price! Highly Recommended!

| | After researching this product and the Sonicare, I decided to go with the Oral-b. I'm glad I did because the 8850 is a great product. All the reviews for the single-unit ProfessionalCare 8850 DLX being sold on amazon apply. The handle has two speeds, however both my wife and I use the slower speed. The high speed is just too intense for the teeth but it's good for cleaning the tongue.
The only difference between this and the single-unit version is that this one has two power handles, but still only a single charging base. We just switch the handles on a daily basis to the charging base.

| | I love the 2 handles, especially while traveling with my wife. No more waiting for her to get done using it. Hope it lasts as long as my last one.

| | Excellent product that leaves my teeth feeling as if they've been professionally cleaned daily at the denist office. One of the fewer products that can actually save one money and time...wish I had started using it years ago.

| | Would like for the water pik to be stronger but I really like the machine. There is a large enough water tank for useage. It's wonderful having the toothbrush and water pik on one plug. This is my second Braun Oral-B toothbrush and I prefer it to the Sonicare because the brushing sensation isn't as ticklish.
