When placing one of the liners around the rim it literally fell apart. The other was better but still showed signs of being very fragile.

 Cheap, but questionable, January 7, 2010

I bought two of these. One went on just fine. The other had 4 leaks about an inch apart after I got it together. I thought I was careful, and used the proper tools to install the tire, so I may have caused the damage. I don't think so though, because I had absolutely no problem mounting either tire, and the leaks were closer together than the levers were when I used them.

I don't know too much about bikes, but this seems to be alright. Comes with only 1 in a pack. Be sure to get 2 if you need 2

I bought this to replace the original rim strip in an old wheel. Unfortunately, the overlap, where the strip is joined to itself, caused my tire to act as if it was hitting a small bump on every revolution. It becomes quite annoying, very quickly. I pulled it and followed the advice of a local bike mechanic and used electrical tape in its place. Problem solved.

This strip came apart as I was trying to install it. I had to toss it and then went and bought a Bell product, which was of much higher quality.

 Stopped tube blowouts, January 2, 2012

These rim strips work better than the original equipment installed by TREK. Have not had any inner tube blow outs since installing these.
