4.0 out of 5 stars.  Decent Little Seat Bag, August 16, 2010
By Amazon Warrior
I'd rather give this bag 4.5 stars, but since Amazon doesn't have that option I'll round it down only because I don't think this bag is quite a five.

Let's start with the negative first. There's only two issues and they're not really even serious issues. The first is that while this is a large bag, it's not really that big. It says 73/106 cubic inches, but at the risk of sounding dense I have no freaking clue what that means!
The first day I got it I put my wallet, keys, eyeglasses and case, building access card, 15 piece pack of gum, cell phone, and blue tooth into it and it was a pretty tight fit even with expanding it.
Size-wise, I think this bag is ideal for carrying your bare personal essentials (i.e. wallet, keys, and phone) and maybe a spare tube and hand pump for air. If I had to give a size description to how big this thing is I'd say it's a little bigger than the size of a square (not rectangle) Kleenex box.

The other downside is that there is zero option to lock this thing so you can keep it secured to your bike with your personal items. However, this bag is very easily detachable which makes it a breeze to take on or off. It seriously only takes like 15 seconds to attach or detatch this thing. Which brings me to the good points.

The bag is very easily attachable or detachable. I can vouch for the bags water resisting capabilities, as I got caught in a rough storm and my items all remained dry. It's a stylish looking bag, so it doesn't give your bike a bag lady appeal like the panniers(no offense to pannier users).

I'd recommend this bag for keeping smaller personal items or bike repair necessities. I've had it for about a month now and I've been very happy with it.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Best Saddle Bag, June 29, 2011
By rp05
THere is a lot of room in this bag. In my view it is far better than any others (i have tried a few) & a lot better than any triangle frame bag. Only bad point is it is not waterproof. i left my bike out in the rain for an hour and the inside was very wet.

2.0 out of 5 stars.  Size matters, but only if it's tight, May 28, 2011
By JC (Houston Texas)
Maybe it's just me, but the nylon loop which engages the frame of the saddle just works loose. It's one of those friction things, with the loop through three bars and the friction thereof is supposed to hold the strap. Velcro would have been better - mine tends to loosen and swing counter to cadence, breaking flow. I've mounted mine "upside down" (at least the lettering is upside down) and anchoring it to the rack.
Capacity is good - I carry spare tube, hex key set, crescent wrench, multitool, and milspec gun oil (great for the chain!), and it has enough space left for a good sammich. The Velcro portion of the sescription evidently refers only to the attachment ot the seat post.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Much room, decent quality construction., July 19, 2011
By J. Davis (Orange County, CA)
I like the amount of space. I'm one of those guys who rolls around with too much gear and I figured this would be another seat bag that would not satisfy my craving for space. I was wrong! In my bag I carry spanner, allen wrenches, CO2 + inflator, patch kit, chain breaker, my lights, a lighter and a few other odds and ends. And I dont even have the expansion zipper open. Pretty sure I can cram a tube in there if I do open the zipper.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  cycling pouch, July 16, 2011
By mommart
I bought this for my husband because he rides bike 30-60 miles each day. He thought perhaps he wanted a bit larger one than the one he already had so it would carry all the things he might need for his rides. I ordered this one, and shortly before I got it....my husband said he wasn't sure how he would feel about a larger pouch on his bike. Being afraid it might be in the way. He has one of those really skinny seats with the split in the middle.
But, to my pleasant surprise, he put it right on his bike for his next ride, and loves it. He says it's perfect for what he likes to travel with.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great Bag, July 11, 2011
By Saxacussionist
I was looking for a bag that was small, yet large enough to hold all the necessary stuff you'll need when you have that repair 20 miles from anywhere. After a lot of research I decided to try this bag. Now we have 2 of them! Awesome bag, not too big, not too small. With the extension unzipped, it holds a tube, multitool, CO2 inflator, 3 additional CO2 cartridges, pressure gauge, Cliff bar, cell phone, money clip, car key with large key fob, and sometimes a folded map. We have had them for 2 months / 300 miles and they still look brand new. I'm not sure how much more you could ask!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Good Value, July 8, 2011
By dbshabo
This bag appears to be constructed with quality materials and the stitching looks good but I'm no expert. The zippers work as they should and the straps are quick and easy to use. It's not as big as I thought it might be. The clip inside is a nice feature to keep keys easy to find. I have a spare tube in the box, folding multi-tool, 3 tire irons(?), and a CO2 inflator w/extra cartridge in the bag non expanded. If I expand the bag to max volume I should be able to get my wallet and a cell phone in there as well.

I'm happy with the bag. Great price thru Amazon. Quick shipping.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Avenir Bigmouth Velcro Bag, July 7, 2011
By honzilla23
great product. great price most stores charge double the price, easy to install, lots of room(wallet-phone-keys-lock)outside pockets are great for ID and money, the only draw back is after install the strap ends dangle and need to be tucked in or rubbered banded together to stay in place out of the way of the spinning back tire

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Well, not what I expected, July 6, 2011
By hvac man (California)
Still looks like a good quality bag though. Its very small, wont hold much and it has a funky way to hook up to the seat. It looks like it will probably flop around.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Perfect tool for the job, July 2, 2011
By Sam F (California)
The bag comes as described and fits snugly under the saddle. I carry a CO2 cartridge with valve, 2 metal tire levers, a tube, granola bar, and my wallet in here and there is space for more. I have not even had to expand it to the larger size to fit all of that stuff in there.

I highly recommend this as a saddle bad for road riding.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Does what it is supposed to do., July 2, 2011

I have had the bag on my bike for a couple of weeks. It seems to be made well and I have no complaints about it.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great Bag!, June 13, 2011
By B. Ellis (Lexington, SC)
I bought this seat bag to hold my tools/phone/knife/spare tube while riding my MTB on the trails. So far I must say it's been a great purchase! It's rugged, expandable (not by leaps and bounds, but more expandable than others), and not too expensive. It's a great buy, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to store a good many [smaller] items in one place.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  BEST SEAT BAG EVER, June 30, 2011
By Biker69
Let me first start off by saying, that this is the best bike seat ever!! I was skeptical about all the reviews saying how great your butt would look while riding with this bag, but let me tell you. I got at least 10 comments, in the first hour, on how great it made the shape of my butt look and how it really made the curves of my butt pop. I never felt so confident, when other riders were behind me, as i did with this bag. I just knew they were wanting to either compliment on how good my butt looks or either wanted to grab it. If you're looking for a good confidence boost out on the bike path, I highly suggest that you use this seat bag. Your ego & your butt will thank you! :)
