 Solid Cheap Sunglasses with UV, March 2, 2009

These are not going to win any design awards or get you a date. They will provide good coverage for a good price.
The price point around $10 is about right for these. I've seen better glasses, but you pay for it. These are nicer than the $10 glasses you see at the drugstore. On par with the $20 pair I bought at an outdoor store. I've only had them for a day, but they are comfortable. Can't comment on durability, but the frames are plastic, so I don't expect too much.
UPDATE:
After wearing for a few days, I couldn't confirm these were polarized. I was pretty angry that the polarizing effect didn't kick in against a number of windows and the ocean. Was able to see a very slight effect when turning them against another pair of polarized glasses. So they are polarized, but just barely. I guess you get what you pay for.

These glasses have beautiful coverage of the peripheral and the main vision. They are in fact, polarized and have 400% UV protection, buddy and I at our university were able to verify that claim. I am most pleased with these glasses and would recommend them.

Cheap Glasses GREAT Warranty, April 21, 2010

These are inexpensive sunglasses. Worth the money you paid for them. I bought mine in July 2009. They broke in April 2010. They come with a life time warranty against breakage. I contacted the seller and within four days received another pair. Mine was a close out so the exact same pair were not available. The pair I received are better than the original pair. Check to be sure the glasses you buy have the breakage warranty and has a good seller like JiMarti that stand behind what they sell.

Although the price may be good on these glasses, the quality definitely lacks. I purchased a pair early on in Dec. and the arm cracked within a month. The seller did stand behind their breakage warranty and shipped another pair, but it as well cracked in the arm within a few days. Would definitely recommend staying clear of this one.

I bought these sunglasses for my brother-in-law who is an avid deep-sea fisherman. He LOVES them. He said the are the best sunglasses he has ever worn out on the boat.

These are cheap for a reason. The hinges are like a child's playskool toy. I suppose if you just want something cheap go for it, otherwise, don't think you're getting a bargain.

Purchased an extra pair to keep in the car and they work great. I normally leave them in the seat or console where they are prone to scratching but these have held up really well as providing excellent polarized sunblocking.

I normally won't pay more than $10 for sunglasses because of my tendency to lose them, but I decided to try out some polarized glasses, and these didn't disappoint. They're the perfect size for my head, they grip well without applying much pressure. Really lightweight, and keep the light down without being too darkly tinted.

I live in a Caribbean Island, and not being able to get my usual Maui Jims (discontinued) i ended up with this 20 dollar sunglases that are just great. I sail a lot, and hang around the glare of the sun, sea and sand and these are just perfect. Good choice...

I have been buying cheap sunglasses at Ross Dress for Less & other discount stores for years. I don't have luck with sunglasses having purchased Ray Bans, Oakleys and Gargoyles in the past and always losing or breaking them. I gave up spending $50-$100 a pair only to lose them to my random carelessness. As I am now in my 50's I find that my eyes are increasingly hypersensitive (compared to my younger years). I have been buying polarized lenses to help with my 45 minute to 1 hour daily commute each way. When I found these I thought I'd give them a try. Bought 2 pairs because the price seemed reasonable for polarized lenses. I've had them for two months now and am very pleased with the product. They've held up well during our busy summer of hiking, camping, swimming, etc. My wife prefers wearing these to what she has purchased in the past because they are so lightweight, durable and great for active lifestyles. I had to constantly tighten the arm screws on her polarized glasses bought at Sam's Club for $50. We are an active family and wear these glasses whenever we're outdoors. My four teenage sons usually try to wear them as well. They get tossed, squashed in my wife's purse and neglected. They have shown no signs of breaking down. If we can get 4 months of wear out of these I will be thrilled. Will not hesitate to purchase again.

Broke almost immediately, May 20, 2009

The glasses are very nice. Well, they were. Mine broke only a month or so after I had them. The arm snapped right in half, and it wasn't due to rough use. I am hoping that I can get the lifetime breakage warranty on them. Right now, I can only give them one star, as they are useless to me. If I get a replacement pair, I'll post another rating. Hopefully a four or five star.

Flimsy Frames, February 17, 2011

After many delayes in receiving these glasses vis UPS, I received the glasses today. When I opened the box,I expected the quality of the glasses to be a bit better.
The frames are very flimsy! I purchased better sun glasses at the dollor store! I had a hip replacment,last week, and can't drive for 6 weeks,otherwise I would return them today!

I ordered Tortoise & Smoke glasses. Instead, Black glasses were sent with black lens. They certainly aren't what I ordered, and moreover don't look as pictured. They look cheap, like they were from the Dollar Store.
Don't spend $15 for these. Go pick up a pair on the sale rack at Walgreens or at CVS. They are better quality, less expensive. AND, you know what you are getting.

Style is rounded to fit face, glasses are lightweight which can see either "cheap" or "comfortable" depending on what you are looking for. Good field of vision and stay on well. Utilitarian more than stylish.

I loved the look and feel of these glasses and was very satisfied. But not long after I got them I was just sitting there and one of the arms spontaneously broke off. I'm not sure if that was a fluke or what, but I was able to continue wearing them. But about a week later I took them off too quickly and the other arm broke off. I would reccomend these glasses but only if you plan to be very carefull with them.

This is a decent pair of sunglasses, but definitely not worth the $49.95 they claim is the list price. The pair I got also has a small defect in one of the lenses which causes a slight distortion. Luckily I only see it when I look in a particular direction with my eyes.
