TERRIBLY CHEAP, January 21, 2010
By Amber Skinner (Northern MN USA)

Used this on a trip to Texas from Minnesota and it had frayed apart and some hooks broke before we even made it out of MN. They are working with me on getting a refund. If we had not used tie ratchet straps, we would have lost our load!

This is a good product - not very heavy duty, but adequate for covering our trash trailer on the way to the dump. Good price and prompt delivery.

Worked great with my cargo bag on my trip from Dallas to Orlando held everything in place. Highly recommend with additional use of masterlock cargo straps over it. Was able to drive at 70-80 miles an hour with fully loaded SUV.

Worked great - good and stretchy - can easily get tangled, July 1, 2011

We purchased Pro Series 63153 Black 60" x 24" Hitch Mounted Cargo Carrier from Amazon in May 2011. And at the same time we purchased this Tooluxe Large Cargo Net (36 x 60).
We put a large cooler, several camping boxes/crates and other items on our carrier. Although it was a bit tangled from packaging - it was very user friendly and stretched to meet our needs. With all the hooks and the stretchy-ness of it - we were able to pull it as tight (or leave as loose) as needed based on what items we were securing. The clips held up and none of them broke. I would recommend this product.

Good price for Matterial, July 15, 2009
By Osiris A. Rosa (New York)

The product fits perfectly with the surco Safari racks. The yellow clips could be a little bit more rugged but over all it fits the Surco Safari Rack 45X60 Perfectly and has room for expansion and snug fit on any luggage or items being carried on roof rack. well worth the price.

We use this for the back of our pickup truck when pulling our fifth wheel. It works very well and keeps things from blowing out the back of the truck. It works very well.

Reaches level of expectations, April 24, 2010
By R Hermit (Woodson)

I have very few expectations from a cargo net other than to hold the cargo in the truck bed and not break. So far this cargo net has lived up to my expectations.

does a good job, but a bit heavy duty for family vehicles, March 16, 2010
By 24601 (seattle)

This cargo net will last you forever. It is heavy duty and it has good hooks, but they are hard to attach to the bars and catches in the back of our forester. It is a bit heavy for our purposes, but I could not find a lighter one (what I was looking for was a net that was thinner like my motorcycle cargo net, but they are not large enough.) It's probably great for the back of a pickup, but we found one with yellow hooks (still heavy duty) that works better in the back of the forester.

User error might cause it to break, September 4, 2011
By crknight2305

I bought this to use for my cargo carrier on the back of my car. The first time I used it the cords broke on me. It didn't seem possible because the cords are very durable (and stretchy). So I looked a little closer, and it seemed to have melted. Turns out I had it too close to the exhaust. I stretched it under my carrier to get it tighter and that is what did it in. I still use it, and it works great. I just make sure it does not go anywhere near the exhaust, and I also use extra tie-downs. One more thing to note is the clips. They are a bit flimsy, and can fall off, but they have yet to break. Overall good product for the price.

lead in cargo net, June 10, 2011
By Dave R

According to the label on the cargo net:
"Normal everyday use of this product is likely to expose the user to dust and microscopic particles containing lead and other chemicals known in the state of California to cause cancer, birth defects and other reproductive harm. Wash hands thoroughly after the use and handling of this product"
Would have been nice to know before I ordered (info not on web site). As I had planned to use it for an overhead storag area in my RV.

Just what I was looking for, May 17, 2011

I do a lot of camping, hunting and fishing. Have no
cap on my pick up. I tarp all my supplies. The
cargo net keeps everything tight and does not
allow the tarp to flap all over the place

Pay for what you get, April 9, 2011

Not recommended. Mine tore apart on a half day's drive down the freeway. I wouldn't use it for pickup use, maybe somewhere else where it doesn't have to compete with the wind.

The item arrived as scheduled and the net looks like it will work well as long as the plastic hooks are not cheaply made. Time will tell.

Multi-Purpose Cargo Nets, February 10, 2010
By Michael Dunstan
|
|
I was so impressed with the first two cargo nets I purchased, I bought six more smaller nets. In no time, I had all six holding together neat bundles of loose items around the house. Great for tidying up and grouping together bundles of otherwise loose objects typically scattered about. Maybe it's "a guy thing," but I really like them! (And my home has never been so free of clutter.)

Does the job., November 3, 2011
By G. Huck

I was pleasantly surprised with this cargo net. It was just the right size to stretch over the bed of my Ranger, and kept stuff from moving or flying out. However, a couple of the bungies in the middle broke somehow, but I was able to tie them together. The yellow plastic hooks are quite handy to attach, and you can move their positioning around. I haven't had any break on me, but I haven't put excessive pressure on them. Pretty good for the price!

A little large, tangles easily, but works well, September 30, 2011
By Andy (NY)

I bought this net for the bed of my '10 Tacoma, full sized bed. I needed something that would keep cargo from sliding around whenever I hit the brakes or the gas. Overall this net does its job.
I find that for my truck this net is a little bit larger than I would like. It attaches front and back with almost no stretching, which means its a little slack in the middle. Unless I have something large underneath it, it doesn't 'grip' very hard onto items.
Despite a loose 'grip,' the net does a good job and keeping cargo secure. It seems that the little bit of extra pressure is plenty to keep things from sliding unless I really hit the brakes hard. The net is also loose and stretchy enough to accommodate a large amount of cargo.
There are plenty of hooks along the sides, and they are removable if you need, so you can attach this net at exactly as many points as you want to. The design does lend itself to tangling fairly easily, so you'll occasionally find yourself trying to get the net all sorted out. It shouldn't be much of a problem unless you're attaching and detaching the net very often.
I recommend this cargo net. It stretches over my full bed, a little loosely, but it still does its job. It seems durable, and it's not too expensive.

Just okay, April 10, 2012
By Thomas F. Harper Jr.
|
|
I use this to hold down brush and random junk on my little trailer when I'm hauling. I've used similar products with good luck but not really with this one. The hooks are extremely tight and hard to hook onto my tie-downs, they break off if you bend them, but they hook to the net itself beautifully. After fighting it three times I went back to a tarp and a couple of ratcheting straps.

Durable and very well built. Fits things bigger than the measures on the bag. Adds some stability as well since the elastics are made of a strong material.
