4.0 out of 5 stars.  Affordable option for aerobar drink system, July 14, 2009
By Tri Girl
This is about the goofiest looking thing you can put on your bike, but since you're a triathlete, you probably gave up long ago caring about what you looked like while on the road.

I have Syntace aerobars and was able to fit the bottle in without any problems. It's odd that it's held in by rubber bands, but they seem to do the trick and it's easily removed if you're going on a shorter ride.

I have to use the yellow meshy things in addition to the black caps - otherwise fluid would splash out all over the place. With the mesh things, I can get about 14oz in the small reservoir and 37oz in the larger one. I wish the smaller reservoir was larger, but it is nice that the smaller reservoir can be completely removed for cleaning.

I also managed to cut my straws too short, so be careful when you are adjusting these.

2.0 out of 5 stars.  Profile Design needs to redesign this product, September 13, 2010
By Burnsy17
I used this container between my aero bars (Profile Design T2+) and found that it bounced around even with the rubber bands in place, on a smooth, paved, flat trail, the noise was annoying. I considered purchasing the stand to see if that would help with the vibration, but then there were a couple other issues, so I decided not to invest anymore in this product. The smaller reservoir would slide up during the ride, so every 10-15 miles, I had to push it back down, which would cause the liquid in the other reservoir to splash up due to the displacement, this was with the sponges in place. Lastly, the straw placement is awkward, you could get one of the straws in the correct position, but then the second one would be a stretch. My husband also tried this product between his aero bars, and found the same problems. I would not recommend this product.

3.0 out of 5 stars.  Triathelete, May 16, 2011
By Peter Knappe (Santa Barbara, California, US)
The water bottle is fairly well made. The top covers are a little hard to use in a race. It is not clear from the instructions how the yellow netting should be used, if it is used with the slotted tops. I ended up just using the slotted tops without the yellow netting. However, on bumpy roads, there is quire a bit of splashing. Also, the inside bottle tends to ride up during a ride. At the start of my tri, this happened and when I pushed it down, I got a gatorade shower. Nice and sticky the rest of the race. The solution is to use one of the rubber bands to hold the little bottle down.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Just what I needed, October 7, 2010
By pmruns (Atlanta, GA)
I just competed in my first Half IronMan and used this bottle for that race. It worked exactly as I expected...durable bottle and parts...fit with my existing Profile Design mounting bracket and Jammer Aero bars. Reduced my need to come out of aero position to fuel and hydrate. Just make sure the rubber bands cover the top of the smaller inset tank as it tends to rise out of the larger tank without that support.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great water bottle, July 26, 2010
By Steven Franklin
Before when I did triathlons I would drink during the bike portion, because it would take away from my time to reach for the bottle. But, with the Profile Design Aqua System the bottle is right in front. All I have to do is lean over and get a drink. Well worth the money.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Not sure why it is a toy?, October 13, 2010
By Amy K. Litwiler (Upstate, NY)
Why this is in the toy category, I'm not sure. It is a really valuable piece of survival gear for a triathlon. I loved this inexpensive solution to carrying lots of fluid, including both water and my carbo drink. Didn't have to invest in one of those really expensive frame or seat mounted units.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Profile design double reservoir bottle, October 23, 2009
By Patricia I. Vial (Panama, Republic of Panama)
Excellent purchase! I recommend it for everyone who needs to do long distances. I have been training with it for the Cozumel Ironman and have found it very useful.

2.0 out of 5 stars.  Not quite what I was expecting, September 6, 2011
By Lord_T
I purchased this hydration system in the hope that I'll be able to be properly hydrated for the run portion of a Tri, because I found reaching for the bottle during a race from the down tube or seat tube interfered with my flow!

I used the rubber bands, but am still getting drenched in electrolyte drinks (water is not a problem). I don't have the patience to work out how to use the yellow webbing, but fear that that will not be much help anyway! After trying to use this system in two races and many training sessions, I am still unimpressed.

1.0 out of 5 stars.  AQUABOTTLE, May 5, 2012
By UPSTATE RIDER
Profile Design Aqua CellTHIS PRODUCT IS A GREAT IDEA ONLY IF IT WOULD STAY IN PLACE. I ALSO ORDERED THE MOUNTING BRACKET AND IT DID NOT HELP VERY MUCH. VERY POOR DESIGN AND THE LIQUID WILL GO ALL OVER YOU AND YOU BIKE. AS THE LIQUID IN THE WATER BOTTLE GETS USED IT BECOMES VERY LITE AND SHAKES AND RATTLES ON YOUR TRI BARS. ITS A WASTE OF MONEY.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Works as promised, January 17, 2012
By SteveM
Excellent water bottle. Does exactly what I had hoped it would do. It mounts very nicely in the aero bars and the staw was long enough so I could custom fit it. Great Purchase

3.0 out of 5 stars.  caution you have to buy the mounting pieces separately!!!, January 9, 2012
By joe Craig (Winchester, Ky, US)
I wasn't aware this bottle required a separate purchase to be able to mount it to your bike. I probably mentions it some where, but I didn't see it.
