Just what I was looking for, February 20, 2007

simple, light weight, easy to store. I can use the less expensive 12 gram CO2 cartridges. Peace of mind in my tire fix it kit.

Not too sturdy....broke on 2d use, August 27, 2011

Mine broke on 2d use, when I screwed in the CO2 cartridge, the plastic threading cracked, leaving me stranded. Had to use the hand pump to inflate the tire

good enough, works with cheap airgun cartridges, January 14, 2012

I bought this to help with reseating the tire on my "ghetto" tubeless setup in case of trailside problems or for reseating at home when i change out the sealant. It seems to be important to keep the co2 cartridge upright to avoid freezing the unit. If you're using this with a tubeless setup, I recommend carrying a small container of soapy water(~1:1 or 1:2 soap to water) to help the tire seat on the rim. Carrying some extra sealant is a good idea too.

Road repair, August 10, 2011

Talk to a person familiar with this inflator before you use on the road and have them show you how to use it. The instructions are not clear that the cartridge will begin losing it's charge before you get it sealed. I think it is a poor design.

Good to have, July 18, 2011

Lightweight, portable, and useful. The first time I used it, I misread the instructions and ended up expending the entire CO2 cartridge without inflating the tire, but it's pretty straightforward after you figure it out. Good little tool to have in your pack when riding!
