A great buy for the upwardly-mobile cyclist!, June 30, 2009

These spot mirrors for biking (or girl-guy-cop-crook) watching are what will set you apart from the rest of the drama... I lost mine somewhere yesterday, and I lasted one day before getting a new pair ordered. If you ride, (or are a spy), you'll appreciate being able to see behind you without turning your head away from whats going on in front of you.

Doesn't work, April 27, 2010

I simply don't know how other people made this work.
It does not only blocks my side view but also impossible to focus on.
I threw it away.

The first step in setting up this item is to locate the proper point on your glasses and glue it into place. They do not supply the glue or recommend what type of glue to use. Super glue would not hold, so I went to Gorilla glue which appeared to hold. Unfortunately, after gluing the device into place, I was unable to focus on the mirror. Then, when I tried to adjust the angle of the mirror by moving it on its tiny pivot, the mirror separated from the pivot. It is a very flimsy set-up and I basically wasted my money. From reading the other reviews, it appears that others have been able to make this thing work for them. I finally settled on the Bike Peddler Take a Look mirror which is sturdy and is very easy to use.

A great concept, September 16, 2010

I have used the "third eye" for the past several years. I got a new pair of sunglasses and so bought a second "eye" so I could leave the first one on my old glasses. Getting it adjusted properly may seem difficult at first, but it has great advantages over the type that clips to glasses or handlebar. It is always there where you need it and never slips or falls off. I wouldn't leave home without my third eye!

It does it's job well. I've used it for a couple of months in my bicycle sun glasses and am very happy with it. I'll buy another one for other glasses

works for me, September 15, 2011

I put one of these on my clubmaster sunglasses (large lense sunglasses) and it works fine for me. Glad I got it. Just use a little thought as to the location on your lens that you put it on. The extra sticker tape they give you let you have a few misplacments but I got it first try.

Almost perfect, but not quite., October 30, 2011

Two problems with this design.
1. The stick on dots that are included, are not well documented, and incorrectly referred to as 'glue'. This can be a show stopper if you don't take the time figure out that the odd stray unmarked paper strip, contains the glue dots, blah bhah.
2. Worst yet... Most all bike (sun) eyewear is properly face contoured rounded with a wrap around design to fit the face and keep bugs out. So this mirror will barely work because of the extreme curve of the eyewear lens. I am used to micro eye mirrors, as a bike rider in clubs and group rides, and I promise that this will not work as other designs. I use helmet mounted micro and eyeglass micro mirrors. If you use flat lenses regular office type eyewear then this will work super great, but if you wear curved, face contoured eyewear, then these great optic mirrors and glue dots will be useless. The curve of the eyewear prevent good rear view viewing. Third Eye is a good brand for other style mirrors, but don't buy this particular product.

Bicycle Mirror, November 15, 2011

Sometimes a bit of a strain on the eyes to use it, being that you must really look far into the right or left corners of your sunglasses and tilt your head all around to get things into view of this tiny mirror. Guess it would take quite a bit of getting use to it.
