Save Your Money, January 21, 2011
By Woodbridge Dave (Maryland)

Suggest it'll be cheaper to spend more now on a better unicycle. I knew nothing about unicycles, and you may be in the same boat.
First, this thing is trivial to put together, so don't worry about instructions. None necessary!
My son's been using his for 3 days and we've noticed a number of issues.
Most troubling are the bumpers (the blue ends on the seat). They serve 2 purposes: to hold onto as your mounting and riding, and to protect the softer parts of the seat when the unicycle falls - which happens frequently when you're learning. The bumpers on this unicycle are made of a stiff plastic, and the back one broke off immediately. With continued use, I'm sure the seat will rip apart.
Another problem we had was with the clamp for the seat post. It appears to be "quick release", but it also appears to not work. I haven't disassembled it, but I expect there's no cam action. Rather it acts as a handle which easily folds out of your way for riding. My son is pretty light (12 yrs old, 79 lbs), and after a bit of riding the seat is misaligned relative to the wheel. I've tightened it using a wrench, but I'm worried I'll break it if I go much further. Not a big problem, but a nuisance.
Finally, a more trivial "issue" deals with the pre-assembled cranks (the arms the peddles attach to). The left and right cranks aren't aligned with one-another, but are a couple of degrees off. My son has complained about this, but I'm not convinced that it's really just him still learning to ride. He claims that this results in him having a tough time turning the peddles when they're "straight" up and down. On each revolution of the wheel, at some point when one peddle is straight down, but the other is not quite yet straight up. I expect this stage would be tough with any unicycle, but when one of the peddles isn't yet to the top of the rotation it's got to make it especially tough. Since I don't ride, it's impossible to judge how big a problem this really is.
While there's nothing I think I'll do about that last issue, I expect to spend about $20 on a new seat and about $6 for a new clamp, plus shipping. I think that would've been money better spent on a better unicycle!

TERRIBLE, February 20, 2011

This unicycle sucks! The first time riding it the seat tore in half and I couldnt crank the seat post tight enough to hold me up. Definitely not worth the money. Get a torker for a little more but it will actually last.

Terrible, January 27, 2011
By jeddapet

the seat fell apart on me almost instantaneously, not good for learning or tricks. After one fall the seats plastic broke and after replacing the seat the tire wore down extremely fast. the petals and cranks loosened themselves. i would just barley even rate this a one out of five. this all happened in the first month of ownership.

There are some shortcomings, October 13, 2011
By Moycus

I've been riding for 20 years and wanted to evaluate this unicycle for beginner students in my unicycle class. The seat post is 22mm and all the construction is standard among many other unicycles.
The pros are: - Looks pleasing - Strong seat post clamp
The cons are: - Thin crank arms. Expect them to bend shorty. - Poor quality hub
I ended up not being able to ride it because I can't get the crankarms tight onto the hub. The nut stripped right away and now it is impossible to repair. Putting in a new hub is a huge expense. It is very annoying to ride this unicycle with a loose crankarm.

fun!, February 1, 2010

I had to replace the seat on it within 2 weeks because the one it came with kept falling off. The wheel is nice quality and it rides nice, however for the price I paid nothing should have had to be replaced. It came with a bent screw that I had to go and buy in order to assemble it.

Good Quality and Great Service, December 24, 2009
By R. Landon (Delran, NJ United States)

The unicycle is better quality than I expected for a low cost, starter cycle. Directions for assembly are TERRIBLE but it wasn't difficult to figure out. The best part of the order was the customer service. When I noticed that it was stuck in a UPS terminal for four days with an ""exception"" code, I contacted the seller through an email to dentalBookshop and asked if they could do something since it was to be a Christmas present and time was running out. Customer service immediately emailed me back, apologized for the UPS delay and expedite shipped a 2nd unicycle at no charge. They only asked that if the original showed up that I would return it. They were responsive and trusting which you rarely see anymore.

Good price, Assembly takes 5 minutes, and looks like the real thing. However the first time I took this thing out it broke after about 40 minutes. When assembling the unicycle I used a wrench to tighten everything pretty good, but the pedal fell off while I was mounting it. First time use and it breaks! You get what you pay for.

a great unicylce for the price. I ordered 2 of them for both my kids. Easily assembled. The quality is good for a 7 & 9 year old. They have been using and practicing for 2 weeks straight. Good entertainment for them as it keeps them busy and occupied for hours.

This is a great uni for a beginner. Yes the instructions are not that much (just on diagram) but if you cant figure out how this goes together then you have bigger issues.

Decent Product, October 30, 2010

This unicycle is easy to assemble, very sturdy and works fine for me. For assembly of the pedals I recommend using a proper wrench, the wrench included in the kit is a bit flimsy. I can recommend buying this article.

SAVE YOUR MONEY$ TO GET SOMETHING BETTER, March 11, 2012
By The Unknown Gamer

i am a beginer now at uniclcling and i wanted a cheap way to ride, so i bought this one.this unicycle is ok. the reason that i dont like it so much is because it has some problems. the seat broke in a few diffrent places and the petal is always wiggling. I went through so much hastle going to home depot to try to find a lock nut that works to help keep the petal on. if you need to find one of those nuts, just go to Advanced auto parts (also get blue lock tight and super glue to keep that in place. overall the unicycle isnt bad just had a few annoying problems and some of them can be fixed.

Unicycle, December 27, 2011
By Michael Jensen (Grass Valley, CA, US)

The Unicycle is a good basic bike for the price. Easy to put together. The only problem we have had is that the clamp doesn't work well on the unicycle which tightens the seat, therefore the seat twists a lot.

Build quality..eh, September 12, 2010
By MPERRY

The unicycle was shipped and received on time. After a few days the seat broke. The crank wore after about a week. Today the peddle itself fell apart internally and fell off the crank. Overall I think this unicycle is bad quality. I contacted the seller and they did send me new parts. Very satisfied with the costumer service, but not the unicycle.
