I bought these for my older son when he as born. I had to get them for our new baby because these were the only socks that stay on and do not leave marks on the baby's legs.
They are soft, good quality (I still have some that my older son used, I lost the rest) and they stay on so well that I not only use them as newborn socks but also as newborn mittens.I just wish they would offer the option of organic cotton

Finally socks that will stay on my 1-month old's tiny feet. The quality is not great as I've had a couple snags with the knit pulling, but I had no other socks that would stay on so yay luvable friends :)

These are great socks! One of the few pairs we have that the little guy can't manage to kick off. They did get a bit fuzzy in the wash, but not bad and well worth a little fuzz to not have to constantly put them back on his feet.

 Don't buy for the washbag, September 8, 2010

If you are buying this item for the wash bag DON'T! It's teeny. There is no way you could fit more than the socks it comes with in the bag and once we got the socks out of the bag it was hard to get them back in. The socks are like any other socks. They are warm and are definitely newborn size. We ended up not being able to use them for socks as our DD was 9.5lbs when born. However, we did put them on her hands because the mits would fall off but we don't do this any more. I would not purchase this item again because the main draw for buying these was the wash bag and I was never able to use it. I ended up finding a mesh wash bag for $2 elsewhere on Amazon that's huge and works for both our baby's and our items.

We had lots of different socks set aside for our daughter before she was born, but once she got here, we realized none of them fit right. None of the socks we had would stay on her little feet. So I went on Amazon and looked for a set of inexpensive socks to try. I chose these, and they were perfect! They were the only socks I used for the first 3-4 months, until her little feet got big enough to wear the other 0-6 month socks we had for her. If I were to have a second child, I would be ordering these socks again, for sure.

Bought these socks for my new Grandson. He is quite tiny at 6lbs. and we couldn't find socks that would stay on his little feet. I came across these and after reading the reviews, decided to give them a try. They stay on and don't leave marks on his ankles. They are also so soft I wish I could get them for myself. They wash up great and don't shrink up like some of the others.

I purchased these online to save time. I knew Wal-Mart had some socks that looked similar and would not fall off. I purchased these and another pair from Amazon instead of hiking to Wal-Mart with my newborn. Much to my disappointment, within 3 days, every pair of the socks were lost; they did not stay on. I liked the wash bag and was optomistic about the product until they didn't work. I never needed the wash bag because they were all lost before I got a chance to use it! Don't waste your money.I love Amazon but try another pair of socks.

These are great socks. They are small, so they fit young babies. All other socks we have bought are too big and come off pretty easily and the baby is now 4 months old and 14 pounds. Plus, they're soft and thick and warm. All in all, very happy with these!

These socks fit really well on my 6 lb 11 oz newborn. She's still wearing them now at 10 lbs 10 oz. They stay on her feet well and are thick enough to keep her toes nice and warm. The wash bag is definitely a throw-away; it just opens in the washing machine and the socks fall out. I wash them in a zippered laundry bag to keep them from getting lost.

These socks actually stay on-we are still using them at7 wks, but they've fit since day 1 and should for a while. Comes with a little bag would be good for the wash too, if I were organized enough to remember it.

These are the best baby socks for babes. The rest of them fall off.
They get lost easily, because they're so tiny! Buy a few packs. I am buying 3 more packs right now and I have a 3 month old. She has many, many, many socks (her aunt is shoezilla,) but these are the best.
Also, the socks come with a washbag, so if you want to avoid snags, wash them in the washbag (duh)!

I bought these socks before my son was born after reading the reviews and having difficulty finding socks that would stay up without paying a fortune. Well the reviews were right! These socks are awesome, super cozy and they never fall off. Since I purchases these we have received tons of socks as gifts (a whole set from Nordstrom that I am sure cost a small fortune) and still I favor these socks!
I bought 3 of them and love that I also have the mesh bag to ask them all. I keep a bag hanging from the changing table to I can collect the dirty socks until I am ready to do a load of laundry and I have not lost a sock yet (and it has been over a month!)
I would highly recommend these socks to anyone looking for good quality newborn socks!

Miracle of all miracles baby socks that actually stay on! These socks worked great for us. Our little girl used them from birth to 3 months. They stayed on and I liked to layer them under her outfits that had footies for an extra little layer of warmth. They are stretchy all the way down so they don't hug tight in any one spot. No red marks after taking them off! I Loved them and I now buy them for new moms. We didn't end up using the wash bag but I did test out stuffing them in there and had no problem fitting all of the socks in with room to spare. Maybe the bag has changed since the bad review?

These are fantastic socks for your newborn. My son is in preemie clothes and these stay on great even during clothing changes. They fit nice and snug but not tight. I highly recommend them if you have trouble with losing socks all the time.

I usually have small babies around 5-6 pounds. I can never find socks that won't fall off for the first 3 months of my children's lives. These are the best socks ever!! I love them. They never fall off but aren't too tight!!

These socks fit a newborn perfectly (our baby was 6 pounds 7 ounces)and they keep his feet nice and cozy. They stay on well too. The reason I gave them 4 stars was that the quality is not quite as good - pills a bit in the wash and doesn't look as high quality as they could be... but, for the price, they are great. I'm coming back to see if they sell more in the next size up!

As all other reviewers said, they stay on the baby's feet! He hasn't kicked these off yet. Also, with a fair amount of washing, they get fuzzy but it doesn't seem like a big deal. They are still wearable.

These were a Christmas present for my new granddaughter. It was so convenient to order the onsies, pants and socks at the same time. The washbag was an added plus! They matched and were exactly what I was looking for. The package arrived earlier than expected which was very convenient for me.
