Like the Drifter 3, the Drifter 2 offers a selection of gears to choose from (4 more in fact), but the Drifter 2 uses a traditional 7 cog freewheel with a derailleur. With the exception of the sleek hidden gear system, many of the same features found on the top of the line Drifter 3 can also be found on the Drifter 2. Upgrades from the Drifter 1 are the 7 speed Shimano MegaRange drive train and linear pull hand brakes.

Enter the Drifter 2 men's beach cruiser bike, which is ideal for a casual ride down the boardwalk or a relaxed trip to the coffee shop. Like the top-of-the-line Drifter 3, the Drifter 2 offers a selection of gears from which to choose (four more, in fact), but the Drifter 2 uses a traditional seven-cog freewheel with a derailleur rather than the Drifter 3's SRAM iMotion internal transmission. With the exception of the sleek hidden gear system, however, the bikes offer many of the same features, including a heat-treated aluminum frame, rustproof aluminum rims with stainless-steel spokes, and a Diamondback springer cruiser saddle.
