4.0 out of 5 stars.  Great chamois for tender bottoms, January 26, 2010
By cookin' (monterey, ca)
Shebeest does it again- these capris make daily bike-riding soooo comfy. (no chafing, no "monkey-butt") Would have given it 5 stars except Shebeest persists in perceiving their customers as young gals who don't mind hanging their tummies out-- not so (plus, tummies get cold in winter weather, even when covered by a top!)Solved, somewhat, by getting the next bigger size and hauling up on the waistband.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  only a few modifications and these would be perfect, June 16, 2011
By L. Wilkerson (Colbert, GA United States)
These pedal pushers are the best I've found so far with respect to length! I'm tall, and most tights fall in the crease of my knee joint... very uncomfortable while riding. These actually come down past my knees (only about an inch and a half, but I'll take that!).

Chamois design is so made for a woman! You don't always sit upright on the bike! There is an aerodynamic aspect to riding!! So, if you find that you ride in the aero position frequently, the design actually comes up higher in front and doesn't stop in the middle like a maxi pad. You can tell WOMEN designed these for women!!! Yay SHEbeest!!

Very pleased. I've tried many pedal pushers and these have been the best so far.

I would like the length another inch or two longer and I would also like to recommend the banding on the bottom to be another cm around. They are pretty snug on a good sized, muscular calf... (mine are 14.5inches). 16inches would be a great improvement in these tights.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great cycling pants, May 10, 2011
By camij17 (staten island, new york United States)
I think these pants are wonderful. They are great quality and they fit like a woman's pant should. They are true to size and also very flattering. I think that I was more impressed with these pedal pushers than with ones made by bigger names. I recommend them completely. I will always go with Shebeest first.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Awesome knickers!, November 29, 2010
By Patricia
These padded knickers are great. I ride about 20-30 miles at a time and these are so comfortable and make the ride so much more enjoyable.
IMO the size is accurate and they aren't too low. If you have a longer torso though they may ride low.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great Fit, October 19, 2011
By Sadie Kane
These appear to be made for me. I have tried many brands before I found that Shebeest is the the perfct fit for me. I have a small frame and most smalls were still too big. The price, quality and fit were the factors I took into consideration. Very Happy

4.0 out of 5 stars.  The Most excellent chamois, October 8, 2011
By Jefner
These have, hands down, the most comfortable chamois out of the 5 tights/shorts I own. It was definitely designed for women. The padding is designed to actually pad and protect all lady bits and it works. It cushions the sit bones and up front as well. The fabric feels a bit like old 70's polyester suit material. It feels fine when on. I've worn these in hot weather and they were fine. The weather turned for the worse and I decided I'd try these by themselves to see how they faired and they were great. I was surprised that my legs needed no additional coverage, while I needed 3 layers on top to not freeze. A note about the length: they are supposed end at your upper shin, but as a person under 5'4" they hit about 3 inches above my ankle. The legs stay in place and require zero adjusting. The only negative I've found is that the material pilled quickly on the inner leg where my thighs rub the saddle. I'm slightly worried that it will pill so much that the quality of the fabric will be compromised and get a hole. If it did, I would probably come back and buy another pair.

Update after 5 months of wearing them: for rides over 30 miles the chamois isn't quite enough, the pilling on inner thighs is really bad, but material seems like it will hold, launder well and keep my legs toasty in 30 degree weather.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  fluffy for a big girl, September 15, 2011
By nancy-0
i looked everywhere for a marshmellow friendly pair of biking shorts with adaquate padding that wouldnt cost my first born child. These were definately a great buy. they fit like a dream even over my fluffier than most backside and the padding has ensured that i have yet to come away from my bike with a sore bum, at least from the seat. i cant quite figure out the flow of the seam yet as it seems to be different on each leg but they dont ride up or slip down they are breathable and yeah it feels a bit like a diaper but that seems to be for the best as it adds a nice squishiness during riding so i can concentrate on trying to breathe over that hill instead of on my aching backside.
