Nothing beats moseying through a beach town on a cruiser bike, and the Huffy Karaoke AMP men's bike is no exception. However, the 26-inch Karaoke ups the ante by including a built-in amplifier/speaker system for listening to music. As a result, you can plug in your iPod, MP3 player, or CD player and cruise through town in melodic style. The Karaoke's cruiser design details include a classic steel frame with wide-sweep steel cruiser handlebars, painted front and rear fenders, and weather-resistant painted steel rims. The bike is also extremely comfortable on the road, with a large, two-color comfort spring saddle with an alloy quick-release post. The Amplified Music Player (AMP) is the real star of the show, however, storing in a removable handlebar bag for effortless transport. The music player--which includes an adjustable volume control (no headphones required)--comes with 10 free music downloads from more than three million available songs. Other features include dual-density pedals and grips for improved handling, coaster brakes, and whitewall tires. The Karaoke AMP requires AA batteries (not included).

Great Bike!, August 4, 2010

This bike is great! I've had it for a while now and it's working perfectly. The only thing is though. The seat is uncomfortable so I had to buy a new seat. Besides that this bike is nice.

Easy to Assemble and Pleasing to the Eye, April 17, 2011

This bike is exactly what you ordered: cruiser bike with cruiser brakes and mp3 speakers in the front. It doesn't come with all the fancy features of more expensive bikes, so for the price, it is a great buy. It is a beauty out of the box. The instructions were utterly useless, but assembling was no problem (despite this being my first time assembling a bike). Do be aware that you need a hex-wrench and a regular wrench, among other tools that are more common. I ordered the bike Wednesday evening (~4pm) and it arrived by Friday. Truly fast shipping, and for free (Amazon Prime for students).

Subpar, March 14, 2011

Pros:
-This bike is absolutely beautiful removed from the box and set up.
-Extremely smooth ride....unless you have to go over any bumps, then the recoil is magnified by 5.
Cons:
-This was the first time I've ever assembled a bicycle, and I can say that it wasn't too difficult but the instructions were not much help for certain parts such as putting the handle bars into the shaft.
-The paint is AWEFUL. It scrapes off pretty easy, which caused the bike to rust within a month of buying it in places.
- I've had so many problems with this bike as far as the chain falling off. The first time the back wheel's bolts had gotten loose from just some small bumps and smooth riding, causing me to barely miss careening into a car at a intersection because I couldn't stop the bike(You have to press backwards on the pedal to brake). The second time the chain fell off, the master link broke and I now no longer have a chain.
- I tried to contact the customer service at Huffy about the chain, and do to their Eastern time M-F hours, makes it impossible to contact them to get a replacement.
- The stock pedals are HORRIBLE. The rubber grip falls apart within a month of riding and must be replaced.
This bike is better for people who live in dry desert regions, and for those on the East coast that can actually get ahold of the costumer service. If it weren't for the rusting, the chain breaking, the crummy pedals, and lack of costumer service, I would of been in love with this bike. As of now, I'll never buy another Huffy bike in the future.
Keep in mind that I rode this bike to school and back over almost completely flat and straight terrain on a sidewalk. There's no reason for the poor performance.

Liked it at first., September 15, 2010

Went out for the first bike ride this spring. Wish I hadn't. The chain came off while I was pedaling at full speed causing me to kiss the asphalt pretty hard.
Original Review August 2010
Not a big Huffy fan, but this bike has proved my bias wrong. Pretty solid bike for the price. Nice style and ride.

Great bike, but mine was missing parts, September 15, 2010
By Arlen W. Kirkaldie II (Billings, MT USA)

The bike looks great when assembled (once all the parts in order).
The box came 1 day later than requested, and the box was heavily damaged on arrival with large sections missing, as well as a hole straight through both sides of the box. Luckily no parts were bent or damaged. However the pedals were nowhere to be found with my shipment, so I had to go to a bicycle shop to purchase new pedals that were the correct size for an additional $20.
The bike rides smoothly, and the seat may not be a first choice for many men as it causes slight discomfort in "certain regions". If this is an issue for others, the seat is very easy to change.

Terrible terrible, September 21, 2010

My Huffy bike experience was probably the worst experience I've had with any bicycle.
Partly, it was my fault - I did not expect the braking system to require you to pedal /backwards/ in order to brake. This makes for a very awkward ride as most people are used to using the handlebar brakes.
The other part was that the gear that holds the chain in place was bent about 5 degrees from the rest of the gear. I realized this after I rode the bicycle and the chain fell right off every few pedaling cycles. I was not sure whether this was Huffy's, Amazon's, or UPS's fault but the bicycle gears sure are not as durable as one would desire.
The bicycle is pretty heavy and I would definitely not recommend this bicycle for use on hills. Using on hills is also dangerous because of the awkward braking system.

I bought this Huffy bicycle because I wanted to start riding again like I did when I was a young boy. The bicycle is fantastic and I am very pleased with it. It is a very stylish bicycle. Great product.
