Make sure you spread the tent, then it is easy to pull the strings to open the tent.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  So far, so good!, January 29, 2010
By ExtraShot
I have never set up a tent before, so I choose this tent because of the "one touch set up" and the price was right. I watched the helpful video that another reviewer posted. It took me less then ten minutes from taking the tent out of the box, to finish. The quality of the fabric is as expected. Mid-level quality, I'd say, and perfectly acceptable since I'm not a hardcore camper.

As someone else pointed out, it is not fully 7 feet inside. This is no problem for me, though. The only reason I did not give it five stars is because of the lack of clear instructions. If not for the video it would have taken me much longer to set up, and since this is marketed as an easy set up tent I feel there should be more instructions included. I have not tested it in the rain or wind, but will update once I have. For $45 I'm very happy.

EDIT 12/10/10: I finally set this up in the rain. I'll admit that I didn't sleep in it, but I wanted to test it out. I left it up for more than a day, and when I checked, there were two places with water. First, in the very center of the tent, there were about three drops of water. Second, at the back there was maybe a silver dollar sized puddle. I think it came in the seam that joins the heavy plastic floor to the nylon. My area had about an inch of rain, so I'm not complaining about a few drops.

EDIT 5/9/11: I took this camping! It rained literally the WHOLE time. Since last time I had those few drips at the back, I made sure that the seam where the black bathtub floor meets the normal fabric was pulled taut, and didn't sag. (I think last time there was a slight sag which made water pool and eventually come in) This time, no leaking! I'm fairly sure that the drips that came from the top were from condensation. It's so humid here. Also, the picture shown is not the same as what I have. The two pictures submitted by cj "phlnkrs" are what I have.

3.0 out of 5 stars.  What instructions?, December 8, 2009
By Donald R. Shank
This product should be shipped with an instruction video as the ad implies. The written instructions are very vague.
I selected a 7' x 7' tent, because my sleeping bag fits comfortably in them. This is NOT a 7' x 7' tent. The inside dimensions are 6'-6" x 6'-6" and I have to lay at an angle. Adequate for two full size adults.
I'll give it to my grand daughter.

3.0 out of 5 stars.  SET UP QUICK !!!, June 5, 2010
By Melba Newby (Wisconsin)
I bought this item and set it up in my living room. I needed something I can put up my self and being in my middle 50's, sometimes arthritis can interfere with stuff like regular tents. I got this tent up in 10 minutes- and down in 20. It was my first time, and I have no doubts, that the second time will be much quicker. The putting away part was a little longer- because as usual, you woant to fit it in the duffel. The tent was spacious enough for 3 bodies, or 2 more comfortably, and still have room for a few bags. The material is very light, but there was plenty of ventilation! I do no know yest how well it may stand up in a storm. And to be honest. I don't care much to camp in the rain. But for the money- I am very pleased.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  easy up; harder down!, April 17, 2010
By G. R. Koelpien (Sturgeon Bay, WI USA)
I bought this tent because I'm tired of always taking the longest to set up and take down my tent whenever I go camping with other people. Untangling and setting up the poles. Threading the poles through the sleeves. Getting the poles stuck into the "heels" and arcing up the tent without the pole coming loose. Argh. I wanted something faster and simpler.

This tent performs as advertised. From unzipping the bag to having an erected tent took 3-1/2 minutes the first time, and a good chunk of that time was figuring out what was what. It really was that easy. Hammering in the stakes and installing the rainfly will take another few minutes, but having everything ship-shape and secured should only take about five minutes after you do it a few times and learn how everything works.

Easy enough to take down as well, but it kinda collapses into a pouffy lump, as air isn't easily squeezed out of nylon tents. You're rolling it up with the poles in the middle, so it was a bit more awkward to stuff back into the bag than a tent where the poles are separate, but it did finally get zipped up.

Four stars because It's hard to say how durable it'll be, until I see how it holds up in the woods and rain. It weighs only nine pounds, but is a bit bulky for hardcore backpackers. For only fifty bucks, it's not much of a gamble. I'd say it sleeps two adults, or one adult and two kids. Don't think my inflatable air mattress will fit without pushing against the tent at both ends, but my self-inflating camping pad should work just fine.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Even a grandma can do it., May 5, 2010
By phlnkrs (Illinois)
I put this tent up on Saturday, just to see if it was as easy as described. I have to say that I was able to get the tent itself up in under 1 minute... The Rain Canopy took a little longer as I didn't look at the directions first, but only took another couple of minutes after I realised I was doing it wrong.... all in all extremely easy to put up.

Wish it was bigger, but for just me and my husband and puppy it will work.

I definately recommend it.

3.0 out of 5 stars.  Easy pop-up, but thin fabric, June 28, 2010
By Kimberly Quon
Pop-up system is quick and easy to use. Fly takes longer to set up, requiring poles and ties. Walls were damp from morning dew when touched from the inside of the tent. Not meant for rain or cold weather. Window on all four sides is great for ventilation during warm weather. Stakes were flimsy and easily bent. Compared to other pop-up/one-touch tents, very inexpensive, and works just fine for the occasional camping trip. Frequent campers may want to invest in something a little more durable.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great Tent for the Money, September 1, 2010
By Celine S. Morton
My husband purchased this tent to put on his Harley-Davidson for a trip to Milwaukee from New Jersey. Here's his review;

Set-up and Break Down
I needed a tent that will set-up fast since I was camping on my trip. I had the tent bungeed on my Harley-Davidson Road King Classic. The Road King is a wide bike in size and the tent just slightly over-hanged on both sides of the bike. You cannot carry this tent on a smaller, narrower bike. The first night it set-up really easy and it was up and ready within ten minutes. My other biker buddies were impressed how easy it was. That night it also rained and the tent held it's ground - not a drop of water inside. Break down was just as easy. Just pull down slightly on the top round part where the strings to open the tent are attached. Putting the tent back in its carry bag involved a little bit more time and effort since it was going to be "puffed" up. I had each window slightly opened to release air when I rolled it up to put back into the case. Make sure you have the window zippers opened just a bit so the tent releases air when storing.

The second night I removed the tent from the case and this time when I went to set it up it didn't go up as easily. I had to grab one of the umbrella arms and pull up slightly to get the tent to open. I had to do this each other night I set it up. It's not a big deal and just needs a little tug to get it opened.

Sleeping in Tent
I am six feet tall and on the first night I set-up my sleeping bag across the width of the tent. That first night I noticed my feet were touching the side of the tent. All other times after that I set-up my sleeping bag diagonally for more room. This is more a two person tent not three unless you have small children. Three adults would no doubt be very cramped.

Final Evaluation
My biker buddies could not believe the price of this tent. I also cannot believe the price. I had it set-up and broke down each night while on the road. It was up for three straight days and nights at our destination. It held it's ground in rain, wind and sun. It is very easy to set-up and break down. It is not a three person tent and there is much room if you are going to use it as a one person. Overall a great tent for the money especially at only $50.00. Go ahead and purchase - you won't be disappointed.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Great little tent, August 29, 2010
By Erica Lewis (IRON MOUNTAIN, MI, US)
Bought this tent for a 5 day bike ride where we camped out every night. I wanted something I could put up and take down quickly on my own. It was very easy to work with and everyone who saw it wanted one. You do have to put two poles in the rain fly but still easy to deal with. It did well in the mild rain we had.

The tent claims to hold 3 people -but I found it was just right for me and my gear with a twin air mattress. I also wouldn't recommend this tent for tall people as you would likely have your feet and head pressing against the tent walls. This is the only tent I plan to use from now on.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Best Tent EVER!!! Easy Up, Easy Down! You won't be disappointed!, October 18, 2010
By I'm not lost I'm exploring (Atlanta, Georgia)
I'm a 50-something solo woman who loves the great outdoors but also loves instant gratification and easy setup. I have to tell you this is absolutely the best invention since sliced bread. It goes up in 15 seconds! And I don't get the reviewer who said it was hard going down because it was soooooooooo easy, press on the top frame and bam it's down. I went on a trip with a bunch of experienced campers and they were all very envious of this tent. It's got fabulous features too. Bathtub style floor is very durable and you don't need a footprint. Zippered mesh windows on all 4 sides plus a vent at top makes it well ventilated. Rain tarp is excellent (and EASY TOO!). Importantly it makes this tent very rainproof with a good design that forms awnings over every window and the awning extends down to the corners. I always rainproof my awnings with a spray when I get a new tent, but that's just me. You won't get wet in this tent. Inside it has 2 convenient gear pockets (one on each side) and a convenient loop in the ceiling for hanging whatever lamp you use. This tent is also free-standing (unless you choose to stake it) and I love that because you can easily move it and also you can pick it up to shake any debris out easily. I do wish it was one foot longer because I usually sleep on a cot and it's just a little too short (maybe built by short people offshore?). Just a little bigger and this would be PERFECTION itself. Also be aware that the color-scheme is not as pictured. It's actually green and off-white no blue (looks like their non-pop-up tent). I find that I'm now doing a lot more camping just because it's so EASY. I honestly can't say enough about how great this tent is, buy it and you will be in love with it like me.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Reality of Use, July 29, 2010
By Kachina
Quick and easy set-up and take-down. Inside is more like 6' x 6'. With sleeping gear and clothes pack it is perfect for one person only!! Only fits 3 people if lying side by side in sleeping bags with nothing else in the tent (5 person = 2).
Did not come with stacks. Would have liked the rain fly to be about 2'-3' longer in front to not expose inside to weather. Withstood 2 days of intermittent heavy rain with light winds.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Really is that easy!, August 5, 2010
By Kristen H. (Granite City, IL United States)
I read all of the reviews and watched the video submitted by others. The video was extremely helpful and really helped me decide to give this tent a chance. I wanted a placeholder in campgrounds that wouldn't take too much time to set up and also a play tent for my grandchildren. I hadn't taken the plunge and ordered it until my daughter needed a one person tent to go on a camping trip with friends and didn't want something she couldn't completely put up and take down alone. I showed her the video and she thought this would be perfect for her.

We ordered this tent and immediately upon arrival practiced setting up so she would know how, once she arrived at camp. It was amazingly easy, just like the video shows and was the perfect item for her to take by herself. A twin size blow up air bed mattress fit perfectly in it and still left her room for her belongings. The rain canopy may well be the only part that takes a little effort, but even that is easy. The instructions in the box, although pretty lame and not very well written, didn't really need to be any different since they included illustrations. (We got a chuckle out of the wording since they appeared to be written by someone whom English is not their first language.) My husband did supply her with different stakes since the wire ones included are pretty useless unless you are only using it as a play tent in your backyard.

When our tent arrived, she was pleased to see the color was a pleasant shade of green which blends with other camping equipment. The take down was also just as simple as the set up.

Please pay attention before ordering this tent, it is only 6 feet 6 inches square and not tall enough for an adult to stand up in, but if you do your homework first with this an all items, you won't be disappointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Really Easy To Setup - Highly Recommended, January 20, 2011
By CFH (Blue Ridge Summit, PA USA)
This is absolutely the easiest to setup and best designed tent I have ever used. We are casual campers at best so wanted an inexpensive (a relative term, I know), no fuss, two person tent for occasional use and this fills the need perfectly. Here are my observations:

Pros -
+ Easy Setup; main tent section literally sets up in seconds, adding the rain cover takes only a few extra minutes
+ Roomy; while I wouldn't want three people in it, it is plenty big enough for two people and our gear
+ Good Quality; the fabric, zippers, and seams are as good or better quality than I expected for a tent in this price range

Cons -
- Instructions are not very good, see the excellent video review posted by "Kelly"

Misc -
* Color not as shown, mine is green and white

I am very pleased with this nice tent and it is a real value as well!

Highly Recommended!

CFH

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Slam Dunk....., August 12, 2010

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Oh so easy, May 24, 2010
By Noname
I bought this instant tent for my husband. He is easily flustered when it comes to putting things together. We have a regular dome tent with shock-corded poles, but he thought that was too difficult; so he asked me to buy him this one.

The tent is compact and lightweight. Setup is exactly as in the video by the other reviewer (thanks!). It was a cinch. Basically, just pull the cords, add the fly sheet, stake it down and done.

There's room enough inside for two adults, or one adult and two kids. Three adults would fit like sardines.

Taking it down was easy and it all fits back in the bag.

My husband can handle this tent all by himself and he is quite happy with it. Now, I just need to hunt for a larger version for us to use as a family.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Fast Set Up, July 27, 2010
By L.M. Parmenter (San Francisco, CA)
I just received this tent yesterday. I was able to set it up very fast in the garden before taking off on a camping trip. It is very fast and easy to set up. I especailly found the film made by the other reviewer to be very helpful. Thank you so much. Overall I found the quality of the material to be nice and the design is great. The flooring of this tent seems to be very well made and of good quality. The price is reasonable. My only real problem with this tent is that the top is not closed off and it is made out of mesh. The mesh material seems to be very low quality as there already appeared to be a run or hole on a part of one section. I am concenred that there will be drafts at night when we are sleeping in this tent as there is nothing to close it off. All the windows and doors have nice zippers to close off or leave open. This is probably ideal for very hot places but around here it always cools down at night and I prefer to be able to close it off. Also because the qulaity of this mesh is so low I am not sure if this tent will last very long. (update quality seems good)I noticed that other similar tents had the same material thoughout. I do no know why they chose to do it this way with this tent. After our camping trip I will update my review again.

update: We took these tents on our camping trip and I thought they were very good. I am therefore updateing to 4 stars. They were super easy to set up and take down, especailly after watching the super helpful film of other reviewer -- thank you so much). I thought the material was quite good. and I was in no manner chilled. I liked the windows that open and close. I just wish they made one that was a little larger. There really is no extra room for a small bag if there are three people in the tent. With regards to the materials they all were very good. I liked the top part and noticed other tents that were the same.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great Tent in the rain, June 10, 2011
By anchirblue123
This tent was great and i went camping while it was raining. I couldn't believe how well this tent held up during the night. It rained all night and morning and the inside did not get water in it. You really do just have to pull the strings and hammer down the stakes. This tent fits two coleman twin bed which takes up all the room. Their is room by the door to put your bags but thats it. Two twin beds and a two bags is what fits in this tent. Im 5-5 and i couldn't stand up without hitting the top so if your tall and like to stand in your tent then this is not the tent for you. If you dont want to worry about setting up the tent at a great price then this is for you. I reccomend it to anyone who wants a hassle free tent

4.0 out of 5 stars.  It really is that easy!, June 9, 2011
By SK (Bay Area, CA)
When I received the package this evening, I was surprised by how large the box was. It was as if I had ordered a crib mattress. Once I opened the box, it became clear that the tent only occupied one fourth of the box, the large box was used to accommodate the length of the tent. The tent, when folded, is almost twice as long as my other tent (also folded), because the poles on this one fold into half, whereas other tents have poles that break into 4 or 6 sections. It was not heavy, but more suitable for car camping, not backpacking. The color is green with light grey, not as shown in the main picture on this product page. Personally I think the color goes well with my Coleman gears.

You don't have to be tall to use the top mechanism, and you don't need another pair of hands to set the whole thing up. It is as easy as opening an umbrella, or to be more precise, like using an Asian style mesh food cover. After spreading the four corners of the tent on the ground, you pull the two strings of the top mechanism to spread the top part of the tent, then you shake the tent a bit to let the four poles stretch and lock themselves into place. That's it. I cannot believe that I paid the same price on my previous tent where I had to manually lock the two poles into place and route them through the loops, plug them into the corners, and do the same with the rain fly.

My tent came with 3 small holes in the mesh portion, just like my previous tent. Since they were not rips that mosquitoes can crawl through, I do not find them to be causes for concern. Upon a quick inspection of the rain fly, I can see that sealant tape has been applied to the seams on the inside. If the rain fly had the same design as the tent itself, i.e., pull, lock, and done (and maybe plug onto the top of the tent like two pieces of LEGO), I would be more than happy to pay an extra $20!

I tested this tent last weekend at a campground near the beach. It was easy to set up, and the light color allows more sun to come through. The tent seems larger than my old tent which claimed to be 7 by 7. I placed my twin size air mattress in the center and my kids camping pads on each side, the gears and etc at our feet by the door. This would be large enough for two grownups of medium size, definitely not for three grownups. Taking it down was easy, but fitting it back into the carrying bag took awhile. Overall I am very happy with the purchase.

3.0 out of 5 stars.  Easy up & down; cheesy fabric, May 16, 2011
By A. Stockman (California)
I recently ordered this tent after returning a 6-person, 10X10 Costco tent due to it being too large. I needed a tent for 7 & 10 year old kids to sleep in outside our travel trailer and this 7X7 tent is the right size. It was a piece of cake to put up & take down, thanks to the excellent video submitted by another reviewer. We live in an area of California that gets chilly at night and I'm not sure how warm this tent will be even during summer beach camping. The fabric is incredibly thin and doesn't seem too durable compared to the Coleman tent we recently returned. The list price for this tent is $199 and I can't imagine it being worth that price. However, I picked this up at a great discount, so even if it only survives a season as a living-room "sleepover" tent, I can't complain too much. The mere ease of set-up & take-down is worth it. Overall, fair quality, but only usable for moderate to warmer climates and definitely not for hard-core campers.

However, I picked this up at a great discount, so even if it only survives a season as a living-room "sleepover" tent, I can't complain too much. The mere ease of set-up & take-down is worth it. Overall, fair quality, but only usable for moderate to warmer climates and definitely not for hard-core campers.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great Tent at this Price, September 10, 2011
By Lori Mc
This tent sets up and takes down very quickly, I doubt set up and take down could get simpler. Used it twice and haven't needed to put on the "rain bonnet" yet. But then boyfriend and loved the star view dome.

Three adults in this would be a stretch and they would have to like each other very much.

Great for a couple and some gear though.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great Lightwieght tent!, August 24, 2011
By Jennifer L. Field (HARBOR CITY, CA, US)
I would not recommend this tent for rainy weather, but this tent was simple to put up and easy to take down. I didn't even follow the directions (they were a bit confusing...like a 3rd grader wrote them), but with a little common sense it took under five minutes to get the tent up and in place.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  AWESOME!!, August 15, 2011
By Katiegee
I'm very happy with this tent. I took it to a 5 day music festival campout and I had no problem. It didn't rain so I'm not sure how it holds up. It's a comfortable fit for 2 people and easy to assemble. I recommend it for a casual camper.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  I suck at tents, this tent is easy, July 28, 2011
By Chad R. Selph (Pullman, WA USA)
I have zero experience pitching tents, I find them extremely difficult (at least the ones my parents owned from the 80s). The first time I pitched this tent, I had arrived to the campsite a few hours late and I was in complete darkness except for the light of cell phones. I had no problem at all. The price is right, the setup was easy, and I am a happy tent owner.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  No Instructions Included??, June 28, 2011
By HoustonGirl
I came home today to find a humongous box by my door containing my tent. The box was comically large for the tent. Also, I don't know if I am alone here--but I literally received NO instructions with this product! I was appalled... I was very thankful to find the video on the tent's Amazon page of a customer setting up and taking down the tent. I had a lot of trouble pulling the cords to open the tent because it took a lot of strength and I was assembling the tent alone. Perhaps it will become easier to pull after repeated use. After figuring out the cords, the tent went up instantly. The rain fly only took about five minutes to assemble and attach. I am excited to use this product on a camping adventure within the next week and a half.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  great lil tent, June 26, 2011
By JH
I was looking for something simple and quick and that is exactly what this is! Our Boy Scout troop arrived in the camping area and in 5 minutes BAM! I was done with the entire assembly (the rain fly took the longest...tent itself was up in 2 minutes!)...meanwhile everyone else was still putting poles together.... I did do a seam sealer on it and it did rain one of the nights we camped and the tent was as dry as you can get.
The only "con" in the length of the packed tent... too long for backpacking it but it is a good..."Scout mom" tent hands down!

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Great Tent!, June 23, 2011
By Danielle in South Florida
This tent is great! It set up in 1 minute as described. With the rain fly and stakes, it took about 15 mins from unpacking to completion but that time will probably get faster with practice. This is not a 3 person tent. Maybe 3 children, but not comfortable for 3 adults and gear. This tent should be used for 1-2 campers. Fits 1 queen air mattress and gear with no room to walk through. Over all a great purchase for the price and convenience of set-up.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Does the job, April 12, 2011
By Ohm Slaw
It's the easy up and down that sold me on this tent, and it works as hoped. The fly is a little tedious to get on, especially in the wind. It wants to act the big kite. I used it over a very, very windy two days, and it withstood a constant 25mph with gusts to 40. Of course everything has to be staked down well. It was a roomy enough tent, fine for a short stay and, it's claim to fame, it's quick to errect and strike, is true.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Easy to set-up, October 12, 2010
By Antonio
This tent is very nice for the value. Once you learn how to set the tent up, you can literally put it up in seconds without the rain fly, and in under 2 minutes with the rain fly. Though the instructions are HORRIBLE. So I'd recommend watching the video review for this tent and watch the guy show you how it's done.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Dummy proof but arrived with a broken clip, January 3, 2012
By jarod
This tent seems to be well constructed for the price and it very easy to setup/tear down. However, it did arrive with a broken clip which I attribute to the fact that it was shipped in plastic wrap without any protection.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Cozy for two, November 14, 2011
By Ella
I needed a tent for my first camping trip. I was the only novice there so I wanted a tent that wouldn't be difficult to assemble. This tent was AWESOME! My tent was the first one up and down. I loved it. It rained a little but it was completely dry inside. My only complaint.... I'm 5'10 and I can't imagine being in there with 2 other people. Thank Goodness it was only me. Overall, money well spent!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great tent ... too short!, November 7, 2011
By Audrey P. Bagby (Stone Mountain, GA United States)
Finally opened the box the tent was delivered in this weekend when I went camping. The tent is great, but it's too short for me. I'm 53 years old and I don't believe in bending down to go into a tent. I've been a scout leader for over 25 years and that is one of my pet peaves. I don't like getting dressed bent over. I want to be able stand up freely. My youngest son is a boy scout so I will be giving it to him. He's excited. It technically is not a 3-man tent, unless they are all 4 feet tall. I had a cot, toilet, and fold up bench seat in the tent. That left about 24 inches of space to move around. Setup and breakdown was a breeze. I had it up in 45 seconds and down in 60. That was the best part.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Easy Set-Up, October 29, 2011

Extremely simple to set up and take down, one person can do this easily. Pretty light weight material, but needs to be for easy transportation. Fits two adults and some gear. Was a perfect fit for my needs.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Completely Shocked! It took 3 minutes to set up and 6 minutes to repack., October 20, 2011
By Regine Weiner (Los Angeles, CA, US)
I'm generally not a fan of tents and am notorious for "donating" them at music festivals... but this one may stick with me for life.

It took me longer to break down the amazon.com packaging than it did for me to set up.

I took it out of the bag, took off the velcro, spread out the tent, pulled the strings, and wow it was up and ready to go!

Pulled down on the nob on the top to collapse, put the band around the top, squeezed the air out, put the velcro back up and put it in the bag.

I'm completely shocked at how easy it was and it's a full on tent. Not one of those pop-up tents.

Absolutely amazed and for that price, I kind of feel like I stole it.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great value for the money - easy up and down., October 19, 2011
By Mary (New York)
First time tent user's review. We needed something for a night at the Bronx Zoo - so not major hardcore camping. The size is good for 2 twin aerobeds, with room for bags and other things. We camped out in a grassy area on a windy October night - low of about 35-40 degrees F. Tent held up well and blocked much of the wind. Tent was a breeze to set up and take down - others were still struggling with theirs. Nice ventilation, not high enough to stand up in the middle. Two pockets were helpful to put bottles of water, cell phones, etc. Stakes were a bit weak - bent easily and didn't stake down too well, but we had enough weight to keep tent from blowing away : Very lightweight and everything packs neatly into a carry bag. Untested in the rain. Very pleased with the purchase (Purchased in Sept 2011 for $49.99) and would recommend.

3.0 out of 5 stars.  3 person tent, October 16, 2011
By Jim Valen (Spirit Lake, IA, US)
Three-Person tent is using the work (THREE) loosely! By the time we put a blow up air mattress in we didn't have room for anything else. We are first time tenters, so I guess we had too much stuff with. The tent was easy to set up, and take down. Next time we will check the size more closely.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great Tent - Sleeps 2 (fits 3) for the occaisional camping trip, October 7, 2011
By M. M. Strauch (Tennessee, USA)
Purchased for cub scout camping with my son (5-7 times a year). This is a great tent for the price point, and perfect for my needs. Setup is very easy and breakdown is almost just as quick. It is a 3 person tent, but realistically it is a 2 person plus gear tent! Don't bother with the instructions they are absolutely worthless. Had no problem staying dry in light steady rain - no drips, no leaks. Haven't used in a downpour. I would expect this tent to last 3-4 years with lighter use and proper care.

Pros:
- VERY easy setup and breakdown.
- Good weather resistance.
- Good ventilation.
- Nice room (for a tent of this size)
- Packing Bag is roomy (UNLIKE those tents that have to be folded EXACTLY right to fit) so if there is still a bit of air left when you roll the tent back up it still fits.

Cons:
- Stakes could be more heavy duty.
- Zippers are not super high quality - would have liked to have had a better quality zipper on the door at least.

-------------------

Good for:
- Boy Scout / Cub Scout Scout trips.
- Backyard fun.
- The Occasional camper.

NOT good for:
- Extreme Heavy use.
- The heavy duty camper.

All in all a great product for it's price point and class, one that I would give 4.5 stars to and would not hesitate to refer others to buy.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great Tent!, October 2, 2011
By jeff6856 (Bridgewater, NJ United States)
I just got back from a camping trip where I used this tent for the first time. Last night we had a deluge w. 20-30 MPH gusting winds that lasted for hours. I stayed warm and dry the entire time.

Setup and take down are a breeze.

Obviously, this isn't a high dollar tent for the "extreme crowd". But for the casual camper like me, it's a gem.
