 Nice winter cycling shirt, October 8, 2010

I bought this shirt looking for something to wear on cool winter days. I have a 40" chest and the Medium (38-40") size fits perfectly, with adequately long sleeves and a very long waist that is longer in the back so that it will fit right when leaned forward to ride. The bottom hem has some kind of grippy elastic rubberized strip inside to keep the bottom from flapping and "riding up" and over the top of the riding pants. The lower back panel actually forms a double layer pouch into which you can stuff water containers or other light stuff, including a zippered pocket with the opening outlined in a reflective edging. All the seams are flat sewed to prevent lumps where they contact the skin. The front zipper zips up to your Adam's apple to keep wind from blowing down your neck, or can be opened to funnel in air for cooling. Assembled in Bangladesh, every seam seems to be properly sewed with no apparent flaws, with YKK brand nylon zippers.
I have not had any cold enough days yet to figure out the lowest temperature this shirt would be suited for, but it feels like it is about the right thickness to work well as a sole upper garment layer for our 70 degree average winter temperature days.

This jersey keeps me warm and dry. I don't know how it does it but it really wicks the sweat away! I wear it by itself on cold mornings or with a cotton jersey underneath on really cold mornings. I like it so much that I ordered another one so I will always have a clean one!

This biking shirt would be an outstanding value except for one thing. The zipper that opens and closes the neck doesn't work properly. The shirt is well made and has deep pockets. However, every time I go to put it on or take it off the zipper sticks. How frustrating.

I purchased the large riding jersey I have a 44 inch chest and it fits very well. This jersey does a very good job of blocking the wind and keeping me warm in the colder Iowa fall and spring days. When it get really cold out (near freezing), I wear the black base layer under it and that works well to get me warm. The seams are double sewn so you do not get have rough spots or hot spots when cycling. The jersey wicks sweat very well even when worn with the base layer. The jersey has held up well to washing and air drying. I highly recommend this jersey to other cyclist.

Ordered this for my brother-n-law as a present. Nice shirt good quality, he really liked the zipper pocket in back. He thought this was great for his long rides especially as the weather was turning cooler.

Ridden in weather down to 40 degrees. Gets a little cool on some steep decents when speed builds up. It is a great jersey. Considering buyign another as I use them on my rides to work on cool mornings. Anything lower than 40 I will also be wearing some wicking thermals.

This is one more product I can rave about. I don't rave about all products; not even half the products I purchase, but I am on this one.
The Crane Bike TopCool long sleeved jersey is of exceptional quality. It has a rear pockets, along with a zipper pocket in the same area. It is quality stitched; triple, zig zag? A thicker than normal material, with a heavier than normal zipper.
I don't think you can go wrong with this jersey. It keeps me warm on the winter rides, with enough ventilation that I am not feeling stifled. With an outer shell over this jersey, I feel cozy & warm.
I am so impressed by this product that I am going to look at other items this company makes.

I have used the jacket one time so far and was very comfortable in cooler weather. I was able to wear a tight fit under shirt under this bike shirt and was actually warm riding in 40 degree weather.

Just got my jersey in time for the weather to cool down. I was happy to know there are pockets on the back of the jersey, as the shorts bike riders wear are typically lacking. The material won't irritate the skin and will provide coverage of the arms for wind resistance. Really good product for the price.
