3.0 out of 5 stars.  Worth it if you need them, January 24, 2010
By Brian Martin (Houston, TX United States)
I bought these to pair up with a pair Vibram Five Fingers toe shoes. What can I say except that their toe socks and serve the purpose.

What I can say is that the full 16 dollar asking price for a pair of socks is ridiculous. I searched high and low at wal mart and target for something similiar, but it appears these guys have the market cornered on friggin toe socks.

If you have those Toe shoes, you pretty much need a pair of these to go with it, but otherwise I wouldn't normally pay 16 dollars for socks. It be nice if you got two or three pairs for your hard earned money, but all you get is 1.

It be nice if these guys lowered their prices on this, if you search amazon these are the only people in the world who apparently sell toe socks. Yes I'm still baffled by that.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  High end socks, June 26, 2010
By knife's edge (N.C. by way of TX)
These are mostly nuwool, a material that does well at absorbing the water from the skin, retaining heat, and most importantly it is able to wick moisture from the skin (which is what you want when exercising); producing less moisture at the skin surface lowers chance of blistering than do cotton socks. For cold weather exercising this material is ideal, but if you must go cheaper on socks than offered here, get acrylic based ) depending on manufacturer's formula an excellent wool substitute) or even polyester fabric.

Sizing length: These socks should come just above your ankle.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Injinji is the Best!, July 2, 2011
By FrugalfromWisconsin
I used to get blisters between my toes exercising in hot weather. These socks have solved that (rather painful) problem. They are lightweight and comfortable in my shoes. I also have a pair of their woolie toesocks for winter, and they are fantastic, keep my feet warm in our cold Wisconsin winters.

2.0 out of 5 stars.  Bigger than other Injinji socks sized small, bad fit, April 30, 2011
By Ali Julia (boston, mass)
I have purchased many Injinji socks before and loved them, so my expectations were high. However this pair was a disappointment.
I a female that wears size 7.5 shoe. I purchased size small of these socks which with other styles of Injinji socks fit perfectly. However these sock have a different shape in several dimensions, and don't fit well.

To illustrate the difference I am attaching a picture showing them overlayed by the size small Rainbow Injinji injinji Ecomade Performance Mini Crew Toesocks sock purchased at the same time. You can see that solid light blue sock is wider, longer, and most importantly the toes have a different shape. Even though the big toes of both socks are the same length, the other toes of this sock are increasingly longer. Because of this shape there is a lot of extra material hanging off from the pinky toe. I am also attaching a photo of the socks on my feet, and you can see a good fit on a big toe, but not on the toes starting with a middle one.

The socks are also loose around your leg, and I suspect they will droop at the end of the day around your ankle.

I like the feel of the wool by touch, but after wearing the socks for a couple of hours my feet began to inch.

Finally, a note on packaging. The socks arrived stapled right through the center to the cardboard. My brand new expensive socks start with some damaged fibers right in the center of the sole. None of the other Injunji socks I purchased from Amazon are packaged that way. Photo attached.

I am a big fan of Injinji socks, and will be buying more, just not this particular style. I cannot recommend these socks!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  No more blisters, October 2, 2010
By Richard L. Steiner (OREGON United States)
I walked for miles on a recent trip to Europe and these toe socks kept me from getting blisters. I have always had trouble with blisters, but the Injini socks solved that problem for me.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  No more blisters!, September 2, 2010
By Jeremy Wright
It was recommended to me to try these socks on long backpacking trips to help prevent blisters on my toes. I have wide feet, and it's hard to find a good hiking shoe that keeps them from rubbing. I brought a couple pairs of these bad boys with me on a 4-day trip through the Bitterroot Mountains in Montana and left without a single blister. A couple of my toes were tender, I'll admit. But considering a mild 20 mile hike (with the same shoes) through the relatively flat lands of Michigan typically leaves me with at least 2 blisters, I found this to be an amazing improvement. It was a little strange having the fabric between my toes at first, but by the end of the trip I hardly noticed.

2.0 out of 5 stars.  Not good as dress socks, December 7, 2010
By J. Chang (Philadelphia, PA United States)
I'm not sure under what conditions the other reviewers are using these socks. I am wearing these as dress socks with loafers. I had a bunch of toe socks from another company that worked quite well so I had high hopes for the Injinjis. Unfortunately, they suck. My feet feel incredibly hot and sweaty, my shoes feel damp, and the socks aren't very comfortable.

I'm planning to try them as athletic socks but I don't have a ton of hope for them.

Also, the slate color is not black - they are more blue than anything else.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  These funny looking socks are the most comfortable!, December 17, 2009
By Caramia (Biloxi, MS)
My husband loves these ridiculous looking socks. He is a very motivated marathon runner...always training and sometimes running 50 plus miles per week. Injinji socks are his favorites out of the dozen different styles and brands he has tried: no blisters, no bloody toes, wicking and all around comfortable. I am buying him a few more pairs for his stocking this year, oh and some TomTom anti-chafing jel.

3.0 out of 5 stars.  Waste of money for me., April 19, 2012
By Kyle Kmann
A friend of mine really sold me on these. Honestly, they're probably nice socks, but who has the time to stick each individual toe in every time. Stupid. I'm not a runner, or hiker, so these socks are just a waste of money. Chances are if you buy these, you're just bored. Try a cheaper pair from target first before you get these. They're just regular socks that take longer to put on. Unless you have nasty toe jam, and athletes foot. Then do what you gotta do i guess.

I really like the comfort. I have bought a pair of five fingers and this was just right for the wintery conditions of running in them.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  love these, especially that they are not too tight, March 15, 2012
By Karen
I bought these socks because of the unfavorable review that said they are loose-- I WANTED socks that are not too tight-- these are perfect. These are very comfortable. I can wear them with flip flops in the winter ;-) They also are comfortable in my shoes.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great for under Vibrams, December 26, 2011
By Tall Mom with Big Feet (near Boston, MA)
These work really well under my Vibrams - they feel a bit tight at first (the shoes with the socks on) but soon they feel fine, and they definitely keep my feet much warmer while running than without socks. They are very comfy and I have had no problems with wear yet - I do wear them a few times before washing them and I air dry them to protect them more.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  a gift to your feet, November 20, 2011
By outdoordad
I ordered these socks after a morton's neuroma left me hobbled and in pain. I am a complete convert. These socks have helped my feet tremendously. I am not a five fingers shoe wearer, but I now wear these socks with all my shoes. After years of running, my toes were getting more curled and cramped. Just four weeks of wearing the injiji nuwool toe socks has gently stretched my toes back out to be more straight and separated. I love the nuwool version (I also have a pair of the standard technical socks). The fit has been great. I just love these socks.
