This is an awesome product! I was skeptical reading some of the reviews because my case seemed rare. However, I was very happy to have made this purchase. Because:
Both of my front teeth are partially broken. One half way straight across and one half way diagonally. I read a review saying this wouldn't work on a broken tooth (not completely missing). And got a bout curious.
Also, I read about how these would fall out when eating. And of chorus being a heavy smoker, I was a bit worried about the reviews telling me that smoking would stain these.
1. With enough time and effort, these can be molded into anything. And I mean anything. I found the perfect, natural looking fit around my tooth ( the first time) in about 2 hours. I've made three sets since then. The last one only taking about 15 minutes. They DO work on partially broken teeth.
2. If you mold them right and with patience you can get them to click in just fine. I've eating a full meal several times without them bugging. But also made the mistake of biting down on something at the wrong time, pulling the tooth out, biting down on the tooth and ruining it. It's a matter of trial and error.
3. Smoke will dye these. The question is, how long they will last. So I've had this product for almost 6 months and have only molded 4 sets of front teeth. And I'm not even close to being out of beads. I take them out and smoke when I can to help preserve them but as I'm sure you know. Nothing last forever.
For the price, I'm extremely satisfied. The key is patience and practice. I use tea bags to get them to mach my shade and most importantly. Watch the drain!
Other similar products are cheaper. Maybe try those out. I didn't. But I appreciated the instructions that came with this one. I don't think I'd of had a chance with out it.

Temptooth is awesome. I don't know about buying the same thing for less. What I do know is that if you follow the INSTRUCTIONS, you can easily make at least 10 prosthetic teeth with what you get.
It says 8-10 little beads for a BIG tooth,that is what is meant. You should not have plastic globbed all on the roof of your mouth like some high school cheerleaders retainer. Trim the excess, slightly soften and fit again.
And for the person who allowed it to completely set without removing it... Well I told you to follow instructions. Now you will burn your tongue with hot water getting it to soften up to remove it.
This product is wonderful!

Very realistic. Took me a few times, but now I'm a pro. Watched a few YouTube videos and that made it easier to see it in action. Definite recc in case you cannot make it to the dentist or cannot afford dental work.

 Misleading, over-priced, and nothing specifically designed for replacing teeth., October 26, 2015

I got this with intention to replace a back tooth that has been missing. All I got was plastic modeling beads. The product might as well be called "temp piano key" or "temp napkin ring". Literally nothing that can't be purchased at a local arts and crafts store for much, much less money. Plus it doesn't do it's intended job. Amazon reviews, both positive and negative have clearly been manipulated. This is not a 4 star product and I think amazon should remove it for not meeting quality standards and deceptive marketing.

Not as easy to make a natural looking tooth as seen in the YouTube video, but this compound does make a temporary tooth that will fill the gap. Thumb up for this product.
