5.0 out of 5 stars.  Beast of a Full Frame!, November 26, 2015
By Scott S.
Canon 6D with 24-105mm L kit lens combo.

This will not be an extensive review, i'd recommend heading over to Ken Rockwell's website to check out his excellent review on this DSLR and other Canon camera's and lenses!

Purchased at my local Best Buy for the sale price of 1999.99 with the 2 year warranty which is upgrade-able after the warranty is up.

Coming from a Canon 60D which is a crop sensor, then on to this 6D Full Frame sensor, the image quality is night and day, cats and dogs, rain and shine! LOL!

I love this DSLR camera! Build quality is sturdy and strong! It feels great in hand and doesn't at all feel like a toy.

The kit lens is a marvelous 24-105mm L quality lens, which was a big selling point and a L glass lens which has a reasonable amount of zoom.
I will definitely be getting the Canon 50mm f1.2 L lens soon enough, but this kit lens does wonders! Maybe not the best in low light performance but it is sharp as a Ninja sword, picture quality is unreal clear and again sharp!

The weather proofing seal was also a selling point, it doesn't have a 5dm3 or 1dx total seal proofing but it is damn good! I do not shoot with this camera when it's storming, i will have to get a weather cover if i do so!

Can't wait to get the Canon 50mm f1.2 L lens and possibly the Rokinon 14mm f2.8 wide angle!

Uploaded Photos:
- Full Moon over Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii. Photo settings: 1/2 a second at f4, 1600 ISO with noise reduction turned off.
- Two images of the Canon 6D and kit lens inside a Canon 300DG bag and Lowepro Format 160 bag, a generic bubble leveler connected on top the camera on the hot shoe.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  It is amazing. I use it for Real Estate photos mainly, November 25, 2015
By Curtis Johnson
I bought one at my local camera store. It is amazing. I use it for Real Estate photos mainly, but also lots of other personal uses. I do use the wireless app to trigger photos when taking Real Estate photos with flash (light painting with multiple exposures a la Mike Kelley style. This sensor is amazing. I also have a 5D mark II but I actually prefer my 6D.

Love this camera. A great way to get into full frame digital photography. Has a great ISO range. Using this for a lot of sports photography. Still learning all the features.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great camera. Completely blows away my Kodak Brownie, November 23, 2015
By F. Latchaw
Great camera. Completely blows away my Kodak Brownie. Reviewers grouse about it only having one card slot. So? I've only ever needed one card slot. I'm not a pro, I don't have pretensions that my images are of such value that I feel I'm risking all by using a camera with only one slot. Reviewers also complain about the frame rate. Heh. Try shooting at 4.5 fps on a Brownie. This camera is pure gold to me.

The 24-105L is excellent, and is encouraging me to sell my old 24-70L which is too damned heavy to enjoy shooting with.

2.0 out of 5 stars.  once I received my camera with the stock lens- I was very disappointed in the focusing of the camera, November 19, 2015
By LAURA JEANS
I recently purchased the Canon 6D. Going from a crop senor of the Canon 60D to the full frame was exciting for me. However, once I received my camera with the stock lens- I was very disappointed in the focusing of the camera. The camera did not produce the crisp, clean images that you would expect from the full frame along with the prime lens (with subject at accurate distance from the background, lighting, etc.). Several images have to be taken of the same subject just to produce ONE crisp, clean image (with stock lens and the Canon 85mm 1.8). This is with auto focusing as well as back button focusing. Calibration of the lens and the body were adjusted, but I am not pleased with the outcome of the images before and after the calibration. I would expect more out of this camera than what I have received.
