Froggy Plays Soccer, June 28, 2010

Do you like soccer? Then come to see a soccer game with Froggy. Froggy Plays Soccer is a book about Froggy playing soccer. First, Froggy gets dressed for his big soccer game. Then Froggy's father takes him to the game. Froggy starts picking his nose. Suddenly the ball bounces off Froggy's chest. Find out what happens next.
I like many parts in this book. One part I like is pretty disgusting. That part is when Froggy picks his nose. I like this nasty part. Do you like this disgusting part?
This book is very interesting. It may even be interesting to babies. You should get this book. If you want to get this book, go to the Scholastic Book Club. I recommend that you read this book.

Another Froggy Adventure, November 18, 2009

As a fairly new reader of Jonathan London's stories about Froggy I really enjoyed this one. The really neat combination of amphibian and human characterisities makes Froggy a favorite with students. In this one Froggy is on a soccer team and tries to follow the rules and inadvertally wins the game for his side, So he goes home a hero to a snack of milk and dried flies.

Adults can enjoy reading these, March 14, 2009

My six year old grandson loves these books and they don't drive me crazy reading them over and over. There are also a lot of them so I can always add to his collection. They make great companions to the more classic Frog an Toad books. (What is it about frogs and little boys?)

My son loves this book, but after about 4 readings it started to fall apart and about 5 pages are now floating around somewhere in my house. Great book, just get the hardcover copy.

Book falls apart, August 12, 2005

This is my grandson's favorite Froggy story. However, the quality of the paper back book is abysmal. Both copies fell apart within 24 hours, with the middle pages detaching almost at once. Children's books must be durable and these are not. Don't waste your money.
