4.0 out of 5 stars.  An all-in-one maxillofacial surgery, September 23, 2010
By olytteas omfs
This 3-volume oral and maxillofacial surgery covers the field of oral, implant, trauma, orthognathic, esthetic and cleft and craniofacial surgery. A separate section (Vol.II, section II), deals with surgical pathology and second one with TMJ disorders. A separate colour atlas at the end of every volume is included. This, more than 3000 pages, book is a comprehensive reference to a wide field of oral and maxillofacial surgery. A CD-ROM is missing, otherwise a very important tool for the trainee and the specialist as well.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Comprehensive and Beautiful - Lacks a Digital Book, February 21, 2010
By Safa Maiwand, DDS (San Francisco, CA)
I love all surgical text books, why lie?

The biggest missing link in Fonseca is the electronic book.

I never leave home without Peterson OMFS because it's electronic and easy to reference and search.

Come on Fonseca... send me an e-book. For $600 it should also rub my shoulders!
