Buccal fat pad is very underutilized graft in oral and maxillofacial surgeries. although,it has been recognized in early seventeenth century,but its use in different conditions as a graft was popularized after mid eighteenth. This books encompasses various aspects of buccal fat pad including its anatomy, development, clinical significance and uses as a graft in many re constructive procedures in oral and maxillofacial surgery cases eg. Oro-antral fistula, oral sub-mucous fibrosis,resections ,reconstructions cases.
