TheraSol was originally designed as a professional strength, highly substantive, bactericidal irrigant and mouthwash. Despite its strong antimicrobial properties, TheraSol is extremely mild with none of the harsh, burning sensations associated with some brands of commercial mouthwashes. It also tastes great and leaves the mouth feeling sparkling clean and refreshed. While originally intended for in-office perio use, TheraSol has become extremely popular with dentists and dental hygienists for use in daily home-care programs. TheraSol does not stain the teeth or increase calculus formation and it has a mild mint taste. It’s also highly substantive, maintaining its presence in vitro for up to 6 hours which is why many dentist refer it to their patients. Ingredients: Water, SD Alcohol 38B 6.4%, Glycerine,Ethoxylated Tertiary Amine, Capryl/Capramidopropyl Betaine, Saccharin, FDC Blue No. 1, Natural Flavors (Peppermint, Spearmint & Menthol) Recommended Home Usage: General Usage TheraSol can be used just like a toothpaste by brushing it onto the tongue, teeth and gums with a toothbrush. It can also be used as a mouthwash gargle. Shallow Pockets (4mm) Apply TheraSol with a Toothbrush, Proxibrush, etc. by dipping the brush into the TheraSol or by taking a small sip and then brushing. It can also be applied with an electric toothbrush like the Sonicare or Emmident. We recommend using a sulcular toothbrushing technique to brush TheraSol along the gumline. Deep Pockets (>4mm) Because of the limited reach of toothbrushes and floss, we recommend irrigating deep pockets with a subgingival irrigator like the Via-Jet or Pocket Care equipped with a cannula-style tip. If your patient has a Via-jet powered irrigator, be sure they have either a Cannula Adaptor attachment. OraTec also offers the Pocket Care, a hand-held deep pocket irrigator.

I love this stuff. I use it because it helps kill the bacteria that cause gum infection. I put it in my Waterpik. But here's the thing. It tastes good so I enjoy using the Waterpik. No hassle, just pour some in. Was this review helpful to you?

Took care of my bad breath

My dentist suggested I should add TheraSol to my nightly Waterpik ritual. I put 1 capful in the warm water before water flossing my teeth each night. It's resulted in fresher breath. And since I use so little, this size lasts me a very long time (ounce for ounce a great deal!) Was this review helpful to you?

My dentist 2 years ago, after having a deep scaling cleaning done, said the results from the deep cleaning did not resolve my problem of curing my Periodontal disease. He then said I needed osseous surgery. Well after reading MULTIPLE encounters of people who had this procedure done to them, only ended up going back to their dentists 6 - 12 months later back in pain again. The next step for these patients were to have their teeth replaced by false teeth. It was one horror story after the next of the same results. Dentists do NOT cure the root of the problem, they simple do procedure after procedure after procedure. You see if they fixed the root of your problem, you would not need all of those procedures done to you, resulting in the dentist making MUCH less from you. Were not talking a few patients here, were talking the BULK of their business. Jesus Christ is my LORD & savior, he has preformed multiple miracles in my life multiple times. So I first turned to him in prayer. Second the lord directed me to this product. I tried the product along with buying the VIAJET, deep pocket oral irrigation system with a Cannula adapter. The cannula tip allows me to disperse the TheraSol deep within my pockets, some in which they are 9 - 11 mm deep. When I first started doing this procedure, it was uncomfortable at first inserting the thin needle into my pockets. No it did not really hurt, it just freaked me out. After using TheraSol for 1 week though, it no longer was uncomfortable & I thought to myself, "is this working" Well it's been 2 years now since I have been using TheraSol. It's been 2 years since I've had my teeth & my gums still intact. In conclusion, all I know is, the LORD is good! I have not been in pain, I have not gone through with the needed osseous surgery my dentist said I needed, I am a child of god & by his strips (Jesus Christ) I am healed. Praise the Lord & thank you TheraSol! If you've been missing out on miracles in your life, turn to Jesus & ask him in your life & watch your life change for the better!!
