As a new acupunture student, this book is invaluable. Easy to understand and well-laid out. This book saved me my first year of school and I can see how it will be a valuable resource when I go into practice.

I am really enjoying this approach to acupuncture. I was a shiatsu practitioner first so meridian acupuncture makes sense to me.

an inspiring read for acupuncturists. Clinicians will love this book., September 23, 2012

I have loved this book since first reading it as a student, now as a practitioner it is an easy way to remind myself of the power of specific points. It is a much less dry read than the typical acupuncture textbook as it has a cultural understanding of the history of the medicine and how this influences the use of the points. Pirog also lends his lifetimes of clinical experience so that the deep beneficial impact of the medicine is clear with many creative twists on the typical point explanations. Highly recommend this book for acupuncturists, massage therapists anyone with meridian knowledge who wants to enhance their understanding of harmonizing the body with meridians.

Best Acupuncture Book !!!, October 16, 2009

Pirog's book is the one that I come back to time and again. His writing is clear. His explanations make more sense to me than what I learned in acupuncture school. This book with a good point location and diagnostic book would be a complete package. For me chapter one is worth the price of the book !
