UNNECESSARY female nudity in the photographs, December 29, 2015

The content of the book appears to be good and the illustrations are helpful; however, I wish that authors had refrained from the offensive and UNNECESSARY use of female nudity in the photographs. While the photographs are not overtly sexual and the number of them is not especially large, there is absolutely no reason to degrade women even further than society already does by showing photographs of a woman's breasts when a photograph of a man's chest would have shown the point location just as effectively, for example. I wish someone had written a review warning me of the unnecessary use of female nudity in this book. I want to stress that I could understand if the female nudity was necessary to convey a particular medical topic that could not possibly be conveyed through any other means—the naked human body is, after all, something that medical practitioners will run into—however, I cannot understand the use of female nudity when it is NOT necessary. It is simply degrading to ALL women.

This book gives detailed information about the nerves and pathways that control different health conditions. Stimulation done properly, enhances good health and healing. This is an excellent "go to" guide.
