Author Information

Colin Robinson, PhD, is Director of Research at the Leeds Dental Institute in Leeds, England, and hold an affiliate professorship at the Forsyth Dental Center in Boston. He is also Director of the WHO Collaborating Center for Fluoride Research and Head of the Division of Oral Biology. He is also Pre-Clinical Dean for the Dental School. Dr. Robinson received a B.Sc. in Biochemistry (with honours) from the University of Leeds in 1961 and was subsequently awarded a Ph.D. for micro-chemical investigations of dental enamel.

Jennifer Kirkham, PhD, is Senior Lecturer in Oral Biology at the Leeds Dental Institute and Associate Lecturer in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Leeds in Leeds, England. She holds an affiliated position at the Forsyth Center for Dental Research in Boston.

Roger Shore, PhD, is Sneior Lecturer in Oral Biology at the Leeds Dental Institute in Leeds, England. He obtained at B.Sc. in Zoology (with Honours) from the University of Leeds in 1972 and a Ph.D. from the University of Bristol in 1984 while employed as a Research Assistant within the Department of Anatomy In 1985 he was appointed to the position of Lecturer within the Division of Oral Biology, University of Leeds.
