Excellent headlamp for dental procedures and minor surgery. It would be nice to be able to buy a second battery pack though. The batteries last a long time but a back up is always good.

 Not a quality headlight for surgery, March 18, 2014

I received the light in a timely fashion and intact. No complaints there. The headband is made of a cheap thin plastic, I question durability.
The lamp is not as bright as a Welch Allen LED I purchased in 2008, after a 4 hour charge. Cannot use lamp on wall power supply. One battery. Will use in office for minors or nasal oral exams but not bright enough for deeper procedures eg breast aug. Enova lights at hospital brighter, but not suited for line of sight illumination needed for deeper dissections. Still looking for an affordable LED which comes close to matching intensity of a fiberoptic. hjw
