I got my first one for myself with I was going through orophangeal cancer treatment. Later I bought one to try out on my Maltese to brush his teeth. The pet stores sell these gargantuan, hard bristled (made in China junk) 2 headed brushes that might work fine for pit bulls and German Shephards but we needed something delicate because my 4 lb. Maltese has a very tiny mouth and small dogs, in general, are prone to periodontal disease. It worked great, I brush his teeth daily. Colgate is missing the boat not offering a veterinary version but the human version works terrific

Nice toothbrush for a little baby's growing teeth. It's soft enough not to hurt you baby's gums and teeth, it helps to keep children's mouths fresh and clean. I would highly recommend this toothbrush.
