Our favorite tooth paste! Cleans the teeth better than any other natural paste we have tried and tastes great. You only need a very small amount, so the tube lasts a while. Love having the option of purchasing though Amazon or directly through the Dental Herb Co.

It's a different experience than brushing with typical toothpaste. The texture of the paste is dense, and the color is certainly odd- a sort of putty brown. (*See photo.) I think the trick is to use a damp, not wet, tooth brush. Because there's no foaming agent, the feel in your mouth is relatively thin and watery. Just wet the brush, then shake off the excess. That works for me. I love the taste and smell, and, most importantly, my teeth feel clean and fresh.

Natural Path to Cleaner Teeth

This toothpaste takes some getting used to because it does not have the candy flavor of most other toothpastes. And you only have to use a small quantity (about 1/4 of what I had been using of other brands). But then WOW!
My teeth feel clean, really clean, just-from-the-hygienist's-chair clean and they stay that way for a long, long time. I feel like I have a fresh mouth all day long!
Using the paste, I have also found that my gums are healthier (I do not have any chronic gum disease but would have sporadic minor problems) and my teeth look brighter and cleaner. And all of this without Triclosan to interfere with my body's natural bacterial defenses.
Worth every penny of what, at first, seems like over-pricing. You will use so little a day, and it will produce such good results that you will never look back.
