5.0 out of 5 stars  Revolution in oral hygiene ( get the name brandl)
By Beata on November 17, 2017
This is revolutionary! Spend the money and get an acutal waterpik. I am a general dentist and had to buy one of these to try it out. The old waterpiks were very effective at getting your mirror dirty, but not much else, certainly didn't clean between teeth. This new version has a very powerful motor. On the highest setting it will clean all but the deepest periodontal pockets. This will clean under any bridge work. It will clean the hard to reach areas and will clean under the tightest contacts. You do need to be careful because the highest setting can damage tissues, so talk to your hygienist or dentist if you have any areas that are delicate. When asked by patients what I recommend my answer is 1) fluoridated toothpaste, any brand that suites your fancy 2) Mechanical toothbrush, the rechargeable kind (sonicare or oral B at about a $50 price point, IMO the cheaper versions have weak motors and don't clean well) 3) the waterpik water flosser.
If you spent any money on dental work get one of these or better still keep your teeth clean and avoid dental work in the first place.

5.0 out of 5 stars  Recommended by my dentist
By Matthew from San Francisco on November 16, 2017
My dentist said I need to: floss, use the Waterpik, brush.

It comes with 7-8 nozzles, though I really use just the one. Good pressure.
The tank is a good size. I usually fill it twice when I use it but that depends on the pressure you use and how meticulous you want to be.
There's a massage function I don't use.

It doesn't take too much space around my small sink. 1 helpful vote |

5.0 out of 5 stars  A must-have for braces!
By A. Howard on November 11, 2017
I purchased a Waterpik shortly after getting braces. I was terrible about flossing pre-braces, and my plan to be better about it after getting braces was short-lived. If you have braces, a Waterpik is an absolute must. You'll find yourself missing it terribly when you're out and end up with something stuck in your teeth or braces. Whether you have braces or not, after using the Waterpik, your teeth will feel like you've just finished having a professional cleaning at the dentist.

I've had gum recession (which also caused a gap) on my front teeth for about ten years. My dentist told me that with great flossing habits, it could get better without some kind of intervention. I was still bad about flossing and the recession started causing sensitivity. Just a few weeks with this Waterpik has nearly completely reversed the recession and the gap is almost closed. I never expected results like that and certainly not that quickly!

I've recommended a Waterpik to so many people already and I'll be buying them for a few people for Christmas. They'll think I'm crazy but they will definitely thank me later. ;-)

5.0 out of 5 stars  Great flosser
By Joyleen on November 07, 2017
I love the water pik. My mouth has never felt better or fresher. It works like a charm and having the various pressure settings makes it really great. I like the fact that you just fill the reservoir and not have to remove the flosser part each time you fill it and also the fact that it is electric as opposed to rechargeable and don't worry about the battery wearing out etc. I highly recommend it. 1 helpful vote |

5.0 out of 5 stars  Super easy setup and works great!
By Jesse on November 05, 2017
Super easy setup and instructions! I've always hated flossing and my dentist suggested that I get a waterpic instead. I took a shot in the dark on this one and it's amazing! Much easier than flossing and quicker in my opinion. The directions suggest holding your mouth open faced down over a sink, but that still made a mess and I quickly learned how to do it with my mouth closed and pausing the brush on the handle to spit and works much better. If you're not used to flossing, your gums will bleed a lot at first, but it's not painful at all and my teeth have never felt cleaner!

4.0 out of 5 stars  ... setting daily until I found the pressure setting I enjoy. Didn't beat the gums up to bad and ...
By Logan on November 01, 2017
I adjusted the setting daily until I found the pressure setting I enjoy. Didn't beat the gums up to bad and as others have said, it can be loud. I love this and look forward to the feedback from the next dentist visit.

Yes this machine works great when you mix water and mouthwash. I do not understand the pulse setting, tried it and have never used it again.

4 stars due to how loud it is. Other than that, I believe this should be a part of every home.
