Great introduction to dental implants, November 13, 2012

I found this book to be extremely helpful to me as a dental school student. It made implants much easier to understand. As someone who is solely in the learning phase, I would recommend this book to others like me who are trying to get basic knowledge about procedures, placement rules, etc. for dental implants. I cannot make any recommendation to those already in practice or who already have prior experience placing and restoring implants.

Implants in Clinical Dentistry, August 08, 2004

I found this book very well organized, well illustrated and easy to read. It was full of practical advice for the practitioner wishing to place and/or restore implants. It gave unbiased information on how to surgically place and restore single and multiple fixed cases as well as removable implant cases using four different implant sysyems (Nobel Biocare, Astra Tech, Strauman and Frialit) but their advice could easily be applied to other implant systems. The book was full of useful tables , diagrams and color illustrations. I think it would serve as an excellent reference book for any dentist wanting to embark on or expand their scope of practice in implant dentistry.
